Great place, quite affordable - Edit
One of the tastiest hummuses and falafels I have ever had (and probably the tastiest in Ljubljana) plus it’s super affordable. The staff is very helpful.
Read moreI love the Abi Sandwich (which is actually a wrap), and I also adore their falafel plate. For about half an euro more you can upgrade to the maxi size of their wraps and it’s totally worth it.
I also tried their vegan plate but it has too much fried food for me.
I wish the vegan food was marked better but their menu on the glovo app actually lists what is vegan and which foods have meat or allergens. Overall it seems almost half of their menu is vegan.
If you go there in person there is sometimes a line and a 10-15 minute wait time. There’s not a lot of outdoor seating and they don’t allow indoor guests yet (June 2021).

A lot of choices - Edit
Nice place with a lot of vegan and vegetarian mid-eastern dishes. Nearly all options are completely dairy-free. Also the falafel wraps are pretty big, cheap and tasty.

First was meh, second was better - Edit
I tried their falafel sandwich one evening at the beginning of my erasmus. I didn't find it good at all and indeed it kinda shocked me the popularity of the place. However, I returned another day and ordered a plate with sides and it was waaaaay better. Since then I got their students menu a few times and I really enjoyed. As it also happened with other places of the city, sometimes they put coriander and sometimes they don't, which was quite annoying if you don't like it. Their day soup was always on point and vegan. An oasis of fresh food in a sea of fast food.

best falafel in Ljubljana - Edit
Almost all falafel plates/sandwiches are vegan or can be veganized. This is definitely the best falafel place in Slovenia and one of the best ones I've had EVER. I think their falafel sandwich and falafel vegan plates are the best (and most economical) options. I like their sides too, especially everything related to potatoes.

We went there as we stayed very close and this place is open till late. They have quite wide selection of vegan dishes. The falafel plate includes lot of fresh vegetables. Recommended for the hungry tourist when the other places are already closed.

The best falafel - Edit
I had the falafel plate that comes with a variety of salads, falafel, hummus, potatoes and some other things. It was absolutely delicious, I was full but I just couldn’t leave any of it in the plate. So good! And the staff is really nice. Oh, and the place is big and beautiful.

I took the maxi Falafel Tabbouleh Sandwich to take away. It was amazing. I could not evaluate the place in which I stayed 5 minutes, but it seemed nice.

Have been there several times. No matter if it is a falafel sandwich nor a mixed plate for two. Every meal is tasting delicious. Sometimes it is a crowded place. Sitting outside or eating on the street (without traffic) possible.

Lovely fresh and delicious food - Edit
We stopped here for lunch in a day of exploring and needed refuelling as we were very hungry! There is an abundance of vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast and lunch. The food was fresh and delicious,as well as reasonably priced. We both had the falafel special plate, which was 6 falafel, hummus, salad (shredded white cabbage, tomato, lettuce and maybe pickled turnip?), ful medames and garlic sumac potatoes. It was delicious and for 2 with drinks came in under €20. I could happily go back here every day of my holiday to try a different option and would love to try the breakfast!

Definitely my favourite falafel place. I visit the place everytime i come to Ljubljana. It can get a bit busy sometimes during lunch hours, but the wait is never too long (at least in my experiences). If you're looking for a quick meal, would definitely recomend.

Stumbled upon it - Edit
We wanted to go to Osha next door but it was closed on 26 Dec, so we came here as it looked good and it was busy. We both had the falafel special plates, they were so delicious and extremely generous portions (I couldn’t finish so took some falafel home). This was some of the best falafel I’ve had in a long time. Very happy, and staff were lovely and they can tell you which dishes are vegan.
