Delicious and Lots of options - Edit
Bodhi greens is a great spot for vegans in Dharamkot. The coffee is good and they have options for milk. I had the Sabich which was very filling although the ingredients were slightly different to what was listed (there was no eggplant)

Must visit café - Edit
My wife and I visited Bodhi Greens on 19th and 22nd August for brunch, and both experiences were wonderful.
Read moreWe tried Sabich, Thenthuk, Croissant, Cinnamon Rolls, Grilled Vegetable Wrap, Burger, and Orange Juice. Every single item was outstanding, except the orange juice which was below average compared to the rest. The portion sizes were generous too – one bowl of Thenthuk was easily enough for two people.
A personal highlight for me was the vegan croissant – my first in 10 years of being vegan – and I absolutely loved it. Light, sweet, and perfectly made, it’s something I’ll remember for a long time.
Pros: Good portion, Variety

Bodhi Greens is the best restaurant/café I’ve ever been to - Edit
Read moreWhether you’re vegan or not, you’ll find incredibly delicious food here – diverse, creative, and most of all: healthy. No additives, no refined sugar, plenty of gluten-free options, and almost everything is homemade – from tofu, plant-based milk, soy yogurt, and tahini to ketchup, nut butters, and more.
The menu is very diverse, offering something for every taste – always freshly prepared, homemade, and of outstanding quality.
The atmosphere is peaceful, open, and beautifully designed. There’s always music playing in the background, and sometimes even live music, which makes the experience even more special.
The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and the place has a truly compassionate spirit. They genuinely care about animal rights, and the owner himself is an activist.
This place is unlike any other restaurant I’ve ever visited – it’s truly special. A wholehearted recommendation!💚
Pros: Food Variety , Healthy food , Nice people

A little disappointed - Edit
Visited Bodhi Greens in Arambol back in 2019 and fell in love with the place. The food was great and loved the vibe of the cafe, I even did a cooking class with Varun! I was super excited to try their new cafe on this trip in India but it just didn’t have the same vibe. The cafe had no atmosphere (music would have been lovely), the staff were nowhere to be seen when we arrived so we had to poke our head in the kitchen to let them know we were there, lots of menu items not available and our masala chai took 40 minutes to come… after our food. The menu has lots of great savoury and sweet vegan options and covers a wide variety of cuisines. A little expensive for India, but I understand you pay for you the vegan products. My Buddha bowl was delicious, however my boyfriends pad Thai wasn’t amazing. Overall a little disappointed but definitely see for yourself.

Amazing Food, Friendly Chef - Edit
As a hardcore non-vegetarian, vegan food isn't my first preference for a meal. However, the food here changed my mind! I loved the Buddha Bowl, the Quinoa Veggie Salad, and the Carrot Cake. The flavours were hitting all the right spots. The sushi and onigirikazu options were quite exciting! Would 10/10 recommend :)

Love their yellow tofu curry, the pad Thai noodles, the burger and the hot soba bowl.
Do try the chocolate mousse cake. Opt for the bliss ball for a not so sweet treat.

Bit expensive. Random location and not that easy to get to. Slow for food to come out, which was average. - Edit
Wanted to try this place because of the reviews and the fact that it was nice to know everything would be vegan, without the hassle of asking for no Ghee/dairy for a change.
Read moreThe location is pretty random and you really have to venture down a narrow alley. There is no signposts or notices as to which way, or how far along it is. We nearly gave up, because the initial paths to it, didn't seem like such a place would be down there.
Anyway, if you persevere and follow where google maps has it, you will eventually come to it. There are no views or anything and the inside and outdoor sitting area is basic.
The food took an absolute age to come out, even with only a few diners in there. the tea was not that good and water only luke warm.
I was disappointed with the tomato soup. It was more like a spicy coriander taste. I also had the Aloo Tikki and Tofu pokoras. Both were a little average also. Prices are high compared to a lot of other restaurants and especially for the location and difficulty getting to it.

Second Bodhi Greens we've been to and we love it! - Edit
We really love the hazelnut cakes and buddha bowls there! The food is excellent, prepared in a clean kitchen and water is filtered. We discovered this restaurant in Leh, Ladakh, the owners are amazing people:) and then we came to their second restaurant over here and we love it as much! Would love to try everything from the menu, but I don't think it's physically possible haha

The best!!! - Edit
100% recommend this place. We’ve eaten here 5 times over the past 10 days. It is so so good. I particularly recommend the breakfast tofu sandwich, the cakes, the chocolate PB smoothie, the green booster, the falafel Buddha bowl, the falafel plate. The only dish I didn’t rate was the thukpa as I thought it was a bit bland. It’s very reasonably priced. You can also refill water bottle for 10rs.

More than an amazing restaurant - Edit
First of all, the quality of food and service is beyond expectation.
Read moreI encourage everyone to try their fruit ball, the Proton smoothie, their incredible Tali, fresh made combucha, amazing falaffel and moreover their impressively tasty desserts with carrot cake and coconut and chocolate cake being my personal favorite.
Add the incredible ashram-like vibe, music events it is a true GEM.
We spent 2 weeks in Goa did not miss one day of this place.
Having said all that I cannot forget to mention that despite already being as close to perfection as it gets, the people that run this place make it a heaven establishment, from the smiling cooking staff, the fascinating owner Varoon and my -now- brother for life (Spyros)(I gave him this name) serving you, you will feel nurtured both body and soul.
Can't wait to visit Goa again just to be with them.
Thank you for your introduction to vegan food (not being vegan) and the beautiful food and life lessons.
