Read moreMe and my family went for Tapas Tuesday
Great for small plates to share
We’re not big eaters so this was perfect plus the free drink was an added bonus and great deal for the three of us
I’m vegan so got the cauliflower wings as my option
I spotted they had a special Homemade soup of squash and sweet potato and could resist adding to the meal which was lovely served with ciabatta and Vegan spread
We had to end the meal on something sweet so got two Desserts to share consisting of the chocolate torte and semi fredo slice
Both delicious
The place is super Dog friendly and has quirky decoration with a Relaxed atmosphere and Lovely staff
It seems like a popular place
We liked it so much in the evening a few days prior on the last day of our holiday went for Breakfast / brunch and our thoughts confirmed it’s a Hot spot for locals
As it had just opened with people outside the door so it must get Busy which was unexpected
Service was quick and I had a separate
Vegan menu and got the breakfast which was a great mix especially the addition of bacon and falafel making it different to typical options at other eateries which I enjoyed
I also got the flapjack and carrot Cake as it’s never too early for a sweet treat
And pre ordered the Buddha bowl to takeaway for a picnic on the way home which was Perfect and Full of flavour
Have always wanted to go to a lounges and glad we did
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Seperate menu , Quick friendly service

Filled a hole - Edit
Quite a few vegan options available, food is fine if not exciting, atmosphere a bit lacking but fine for a chain and filled a hole!

Great vegan menu! - Edit
They have a decent vegan menu including a full breakfast. It's one of the best places to eat in Glossop if you're with non-vegans. They have a couple of dessert options but they're hit or miss because they don't always have them in stock.

Great vegan breakfast - Edit
I had the large vegan breakfast and it was yummy. The ‘bacon’ was smoky and delicious and the mini falafels were an unusual but tasty addition.

Surprisingly homely for chain restaurant - Edit
Pico lounge in Glossop is tucked at the end of a small retail park but once inside it opens into an enormous venue with high raised ceilings and a million tables to choose from.
Read moreTheir vegan menu has quite a few options but most dishes have a Mexican/burrito/avocado vibe and all taste very similar. That said, anywhere that can provide a fully plant-based meal including drink and dessert is worthy of a visit.
Glossop is surprisingly progressive when it comes to vegan lifestyle options and I think Pico falls just short as there is fierce support for independent businesses.
Pros: Vegan menu, Restaurant and bar and open late
Cons: Price premium on vegan food, Long wait for food at times

Vegan breakfast - Edit
Nice breakfast from separate Vegan menu (ask for it) with added on a Soya milk cappuccino. First customers just after it had opened after staying in near-by Travelodge. Found the staff to be nice. They ensured that the bread that came with the breakfast was vegan. Lunch/evening food available, but not tried.
Read morePros: Handy for Travelodge, Nice service
Cons: Bit pricey.

Mixed feelings about this restaurant.. - Edit
The service is shocking, rude staff and the restaurant was quite dirty. Tables weren't wiped, stuff on the floor. Had to hover about for 10 minutes at the bar being ignored to ask for a vegan menu. Atmosphere wasn't that nice but in terms of the food it was pretty good. Good selection as they have a full vegan menu (when you manage to get one), it arrived quickly, and tasted great. Was reasonably priced too! So it definitely was a mixed bag for me..

Nice restaurant with a range of vegan options - Edit
Pico lounge has a separate vegan menu, with quite a few choices, starters, main courses and salads. The food is nicely presented and tasty.
Read moreThere is lots of space in the main dining area, with different kinds of seating (armchairs, regular cafe style tables and chairs). The fittings and furniture all look like they have been recycled. There is also a very pleasant sitting out area at the back.
Very off-putting for vegans and vegetarians is the large collection of stuffed animal heads on the wall over the bar.
Pros: Separate vegan menu with choices, Contemporary vibe
Cons: Taxidermy animal heads over the bar!!!
