Perfect Vegan Diner - Edit
We ordered take out from 4th & State and we’re so thrilled with the meals we had. We will be forever customers. I can’t wait to have everything on their menu. Even our Omni friend enjoyed their vegan meal!

This restaurant is so cute! I love the aesthetics. Staff was super friendly. The food was so delicious. I've had good brussel sprouts before, but those win first place. I will return for sure.

Best breakfast sandwich 🥪 - Edit
I’ve been vegan for about two years and this was the best vegan breakfast sandwich I have had since. Got the sammie with a French toast bun and it reminded me of a McGriddle.

Great Food! - Edit
We have eaten at 4th & State several times and have yet to be disappointed with their food! They offer a great brunch menu on the weekends that our entire family has enjoyed. The Vcrunchwrap is great!! Their pizza's are big and fluffy and very tasty. Even though we live over 30 minutes away from here, my wife has picked up their pizzas to bring home. They have been great about following the recommendations from the CDC and state authorities regarding social distancing and the staff has always worn masks. The people are super nice. The only item that has been a minor disappointment is that the service has been slow when we've eaten there in the evenings. We understand that the food might take some additional time but that would be our only minor issue. Will keep going back here!! FYI - they close early on weekends since downtown Columbus slows down quite a bit.

Outstanding locally owned vegan restaurant - Edit
Come for the breakfast (the French Toast is great), then have lunch (BLT is highly recommended) and stay for dinner (the pizzas are wonderful). Plus the founder/owner/chef/funnyman Chad is always coming with great new menu options. So be sure to be sure to stop by often.

Went here for dinner with my husband and son. The food was amazing. The queso was so good and my milk intolerant son loved it. It was the best feeling to order food without substitutions. My nonvegan husband loved it too!

A great vegan cbus option - Edit
I got chicken pretendies and pancakes when I visited. I also got two sizes of the scrambled egg and hash browns. I thought the scrambled eggs were really good. I though the chocolate chip pancakes were really good- I got mine with almond whipped cream. Everything was very filling and delicious.

Yummy pizza and tenders! - Edit
Tried the buffalo chick'n pizza and chicken pretendies in buffalo with blue cheeze on the side. Both were great!! I've found it's been hard to get a good, hearty vegan pizza, but this really does it. I was skeptical to spend $22 on a pizza, but it's very filling and has a stuffed crust. They also have a great little dipping sauce on the side. Got this meal for my very hungry boyfriend and I and it filled us up, plus some leftover for lunch. Excited to eat here again!

Excellent Pizzas - Edit
I tried a pizza. At first it seemed too pricey ($21 to $23), but when I got it, felt like it could have served two! Came with a side of veggies. Don't know which pizza to order? Split it 50/50 two different styles. Delicious!

Good Food, Friendly Service, Unreliable Menu/Hours - Edit
Visited this place earlier this week after finding it while searching “Columbus Vegan Restaurants”. When I first arrived I noticed it was a clean place. The decor is pretty commercialized, to the point it is almost sterile. The dining area temperature was cold also. The server who greeted me was very friendly. They do provide good customer service.
Read moreWhen the food was brought out, there was a nice presentation to it. I tried their pizza which was really good. It is quite filling as well.
So you’re probably wondering why I gave them 3 stars. If I had wrote this the night I was there, it would have been a 4 or 5 star review. However, I called for a pick up order on Saturday. I was told “we just closed 7 minutes ago”. That is when I found out that they close at 5 pm on Saturdays (and Sundays as well which I can understand). I am not understanding the reduced hours on a Saturday evening. Today I thought I would try again. I wanted to try a different pizza that was on their menu. When I called to place my pick up order, I was asked to hold on so they could check to see if they had any pizza. I was then informed they did not have pizza and they don’t serve it on weekends. So, that reduced them to a 3 Star review for having limited weekend hours and not offering items they have listed on the menu.
If anyone would like to try them, I assure you the food is good. But definitely call ahead to verify hours and if the items you want to try are actually being served on the given day of your visit

Sunny Downtown Brunch Spot - Edit
4th & State is the perfect sunny downtown brunch spot! Whether you’re looking for a spot to hang with your crew, or to take your out-of-town visitors, this is a spot that will not disappoint. In addition to the spacious sunny dining room you’ll find excellent vegan brunch menu favorites as well as the new items the chefs are trying out! Be sure to follow them on Instagram because they are always testing out something new that you don’t want to miss out on (cheeze stuffed crust pizzas, chocolate lava cakes, and more- always vegan!). It’s also worth mentioning that the owner is just a solid dude worth supporting. He’s not only a vegan brunch master- but he’s also a person on the right side of history. Check out WOSU’s article where owner Chad Goodwin is asked about the windows broken in downtown protests against police brutality and systemic racism where he replies: “the protests are representing something much bigger than a minor inconvenience. So to be collateral damage in a scenario where a lot of people’s lives are at risk, yeah, tough, an inconvenience, but above all else it’s a sign that the system definitely needs some repair.” 10/10 recommend 4th & State!

Great vegan diner! - Edit
This great new downtown diner is all vegan and related to Eden Burger, Columbus' favorite all-vegan burger joint. I got the Vrunchwrap at 4th & State, and was not disappointed. The food was high-quality and delicious. I need to get back there and try more things. The staff were friendly and the dining room was more spacious than I expected.

ABSOLUTELY Loved it! - Edit
I Love to go out for breakfast! I used to get really frustrated because my pre vegan favorite breakfast spots, don’t offer any vegan food. I was thrilled to discover 4th and State! The breakfast was excellent! I had the pancakes, Tempeh, sweet potatoes with grilled peppers, and the cheesy just egg scramble. The food was seasoned perfect. My coffee was even excellent! Definitely my new breakfast spot!
