Second time there, and was a little underwhelmed this time. The burger was just okay, not good, not bad maybe a 4 if I was feeling generous.
Read moreThe poutine tater tots were very good and a solid 5. Now the pizza, I need to start that I am a pizza snob. I grew up in NYC and have always had a pizza passion. But this was just bad, it tasted like a dense bun for a crust, that was chewy and dense. The toppings were decent, but the crust made it a 1 for me. But like I said I am a pizza snob.

Happy Hour at Odd Burger! - Edit
I am a regular at the Odd Burger in Edmonton. Yesterday, on a car trip to Manitoba, my wife and I stopped by the Regina location for a late lunch. It turns out we came during Happy Hour, and an assortment of menu items were available for just $5.00 each! With the $1.00 ice cream for dessert, we were both able to eat a delicious and filling meal for just $12.00. This is an amazing deal, and we would have spent over triple that amount if we ate lunch at any of the other vegan restaurants in Regina. I asked how often Odd Burger has Happy Hour, and they said it was Monday-Friday from 2:00 - 5:00, and again from 8:00 - 9:00. Apparently the later time has more dessert items in the selection. With the amazing happy hour pricing, I made sure to buy another three burgers and a poutine on my way out to feed me upon arrival in rural Manitoba! I also bought the frozen ChickUn Pretenders, as they are not available at the Edmonton location for some reason.

It’s so unusual to find a totally vegan fast food place. They even have a gluten friendly separate menu. I found it hard to navigate their on line menu, but in store it was very easy. Lots of choices (all fast food - so don’t expect gourmet), and freshly made.

Nice place for a quick vegan meal with lots of choices. Had a burger and it was healthy and not greasy. You order on a display panel which is convenient to choose options and toppings. There are also salads and poutine and mock chicken options. Not expensive either.

Great vegan stop - Edit
Came through Regina after visiting family in Saskatoon and was very happy with the meal. I have many friends in Edmonton that rave about Odd Burger and I can say if I lived local, I'd be a regular.
Read moreI was very happy with a clear gluten free menu and choices. The lady working also asked a few questions to see if I was celiac and needed her to change out gloves etc. I don't, but really appreciated it.
I have the gf famousburger and tater tot poutine.
The burger was very good, the chickpea patties were fragile (a bit crumbly) but tasty and didn't have residual chickpea taste so that was awesome. Loved the sauce and was fresh.
The poutine was very good, the tater tots were super crispy and had a good ratio of cheese and gravy. The gravy could have been a bit richer and maybe a bit saltier which isn't often a request I make.
Aafra was awesome and took great care of us.

Reasonably priced, good value, delicious. Was so relieved to be able to order and enjoy a meal that I didn't have to worry about having meat or dairy products in it!! Will be back again everytime I'm in town. Well done!

Read moreI got two breakfast sandwiches - the venedict and the faconator, both of which came with kala namak for the eggy flavour! The tofu is the closest to egg flavour and texture I’ve ever found in a restaurant - delicious!
My husband got the bacon famous melt and their famous burger. Both hit the spot and tasted as meaty as one would hope for a burger. We really loved the sauce on the bacon famous melt. Very satisfying without the stomach discomfort from normal fast food.
We got the jackfruit poutine. Fries were excellent thick cut, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Gravy was good. Cheese was just ok and kind of lacked flavour. The jackfruit kind of overpowered everything else. I liked it but my husband wasn’t really into it.
We got the oddnado (Oreo icecream) for dessert. It was very yummy but the icecream had a different kind of sweetness to it than we expected - kind of like a hint of yogurt type flavour. We still very much enjoyed it though!
Overall, the dining experience was a lot of fun with so many choices and most things tasted top-notch for fast food. Will return to try more for sure!! #Veganuary

The venedict breakfast sandwich was delightful, the pulled jackfruit burger was very good and the orange creamsicle mylkshake was exactly what I’d hoped it’d be.

Birthday Supper - Edit
I went to Odd Burger for my birthday supper. My boyfriend had the Famous Burger, rings and a soft drink. I had the Preposterous Burger with onion rings and a vanilla milkshake. My friend ate the Famous Burger, rings, a poutine and an orange milkshake. It was all great and we had to talk ourselves out of ordering more to eat the next day. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was clean, and everything single use I saw appeared to be compostable.
