Tasty and well-sized portions - Edit
Large vegan section in the menu with many options, burgers, mezze, gyros and more. The food is flavourful and there's a good amount (it feels like more than it looks). There's a large variety of flavours and textures in the vegan royal mezze, all parts are great. The falafel is especially awesome - I often have problems with falafel being dry but theirs is perfect. The service was fast and the staff were friendly; I'll definitely be going back!

The best mezze I’ve ever had! - Edit
Absolutely gutted that this place is 3 1/2 hours from me! Visited today whilst on a break and was not disappointed. Separate vegan menu with mezze, wraps, salads etc. I had the stuffed vine leaves with falafel. Was so good! Lovely, friendly staff. Nice and clean etc. Picked up some turkish delight on my way out too (haven’t tried it yet but smells fabulous!)

Fantastic for vegans - Edit
We had a terrific lunch at Nomad Cafe. It serves Turkish/Moroccan food. It has a separate vegan menu which was quite extensive, plenty of vegan options to choose from and it also had lots of vegetarian options as well. Food is freshly made and piping hot. Our food was absolutely delicious, really tasty and bursting with flavour. The cafe was very busy and bustling. Really friendly waiting staff. Open for breakfasts and lunches. It also sells boxes of turkish delight at the entrance which are vegan which looked delicious. In the absence of a completely vegan or veggie place to eat in Harrogate, I definitely recommend eating here. (Note that you can reserve a table which I would do in future particularly in a Saturday. )

Cons: It was very smoky - needs a good extractor fan !

Best food ever! - Edit
What an absolute gem of a place! This made our trip to Harrogate and cannot wait to return. Had the vegan vine leaves mezze. Every mouthful was amazing! I don’t usually like falafel as I find them dry, not here! They were delicious and melt in the mouth. Seriously considering a permanent move to Harrogate so I can eat here everyday

Lovely brunch - Edit
We had the vegan breakfast. Was really good to have a slightly different selection - a falafel and a vegetable sausage for example. Also choice of plant milks. Good coffee. Separate vegan menu. Friendly staff. Attractive deli.

Top vegan menu - Edit
Excellent vegan menu here. I had the falafel mezze and my husband had the vine leaf mezze. Very filling which was a shame as there was no room for one of the 6 or so vegan cake options.

Had high expectations but was disappointed - Edit
I've rounded up from 2.5 stars. I was really excited to find this place for lunch while I was in Harrogate with my family for the afternoon. I love middle eastern cuisine and the fact they have quite a big vegan menu was very promising, as was the fact they were absolutely *packed* on a Tuesday lunchtime which I thought was a good sign of a good reputation!
Read moreService was an ok speed to say how busy they were but there was a bit of a gap between them bringing the first food and the final meal out. They had brought pitta bread on a plate that had mayonnaise accidentally smeared on it, and this was also on the pitta bread so we asked for a replacement (we wouldn't have been bothered about this in an all-vegan place but didn't know if it was vegan mayo); they brought a new plate but had put the same bread back on it so it was still covered in mayo. It then took them about 20 minutes to bring replacement bread. Meanwhile, I'm reasonably certain at least one piece of the pitta bread I had was left over from another table as it looked like it had a bite taken out of it and looked like it had sauce on! I didn't say anything because of the whole mayo thing... Then at the end, they made my husband go get cash out as they'd accidentally somehow merged our cheque with another table, and in doing so had charged us for another table's drink.
The food was good value and good portion sizes but overall wasn't that flavourful, especially thinking about other similar places I've been to for a similar price point, but overall I was disappointed and wouldn't rush back. If I was with someone with any food allergies or intolerances, I'd avoid entirely.
Pros: Fairly big vegan menu, Interesting decor , Price
Cons: Cross contamination , Don't think there was an accessible toilet , Not a very friendly greeting on arrival

Finding Solace - Edit
We picked up a late lunch take away vegan wrap beautifully presented in foil with salad and a sturdy paper bag. There was absolutely no problem at all asking if falafel and vegan chicken could be combined into one wrap. The result was immensely tasty and flavour busting. I was very impressed by the range range of vegan options here such as the breakfasts, mezze platters, kebabs and burgers. So much more to explore.

Mezze Magic - Edit
Very welcoming cafe with a large separate vegan menu. We ordered the vine leaves and falafel mezze platters, with fries and flatbreads that we shared with our young son.

Lots of cake options. Would only return for takeaway as my hair and clothes stank of food/grease/smoke?? from sitting in. Require better extraction/ventilation system!
