Includes an aubergine chilli, Beyond burger, Moroccan spiced cauliflower bites, butternut tagine, chocolate fudge cake, vegan ice cream, frangipanes, brownies & sundaes. Open Wed-Sat 12:00-13:30, 17:30-22:30, Sun 12:00-14:00. Closed Mon-Tue. Food served until 8.45pm.

Wow,wow,wow!!!! What a absolutely amazing hidden gem 😍 Myself and my partner stayed in Horncastle this weekend and really wanted a proper countryside pub grub homemade pie and by chance found this beautiful place. When being handed menus was told Cow Pie was the special, we was sold on the spot 🤣 And wow we were very happy we did because it was ABSOBLOODYLOUTLY AMAZING. The size of it was huge, homemade and stuffed to the brim with the softest melt in the mouth steak ive ever tasted. It came with rustic chips, veg and even its own pan of gravy 😋 Staff we great and atmosphere is beautiful. Oh and the cocktails are tasty enough to be dangerous especially the lemon meringue martinis 🍸🍹🤣

Visited whilst on a family Easter break and we were so impressed. An extensive vegan menu including burgers, stew, curry, shepherd's pie and 7 desserts!!!! Everything was tasty, well cooked, good size portions and great service too. Highly recommended.

Separate vegan menu with lots of options and an excellent selection of desserts. Also been on a Sunday and had vegan cottage pie. Would highly recommend.

I visited the Durham Ox with my family. Myself - vegan, 2 vegetarians and 2 omnis. There were 4 vegan options on the main course. I had Butternut Tagine with Mediterranean cous cous and it was beautiful. My daughter had the child’s beyond burger. There was also a vegan desert menu which we didn’t have time for unfortunately as we were going to the cinema. Will definitely go back to try the other options.
