Vegan Cafe in Dunfermline? Don't mind if I do... - Edit
The best praise I can give 269 Vegan is that my 8 year old son who was demanding Greg's now wants to come back for tea! 😂 Decent range of options, and the Sushi bowl I had was really tasty. Great to see a place like this in Dunfermline- will definitely be back! 😁

Good cafe, be good to have more options that aren’t “meat alternatives”.

Some food is served far too hot as microwaved and you can’t eat it for a good ten minutes.
Cafe needs some ventilation, gets very stuffy and humid quickly when people are in, glasses were steaming up trying to read the menu.

I've been working my way through the menu and it's all been tasty and beautifully presented. Soups, bagels, yummy things on toast. My favourite is Florentine, made with smoked tofu - Oh My Word 💕 Most of the cakes are a bit sweet for my taste, but I don't have much of a sweet tooth. The people who work here are all lovely.

The venue is pretty big and nice and the staff are friendly. The food is delicious! I tried mushroom and dill soup and a reuben bagel and both were great. Will definitely return whenever I'm back in Dunfermline.

Finally got to visit! We had the carrot lox bagel with a side of mushroom and dill soup and the noodle salad bowl with added tofu along with a red and a blue smoothie. Beautifully presented, fresh and delicious tasting! Staff were very friendly too!

Favourite vegan spot - Edit
Headed to Livingstone today and absolutely delighted to find my favourite vegan place now in Dunfermline as well as perth! Had a delicious lunch with my non vegan family who were delighted with their food and drinks. I can’t compliment them enough. Immaculate service, environment, atmosphere and the food and drinks are second to none.

We were frequent visitors to 269 Perth before lockdown so were so excited to try 269 close to home. The menu is slightly smaller (due to covid) but we had the reuben bagel, the soup (mushroom and dill) and the carrot lox bagel. As always the food and coffee were delicious. The carrot lox bagel in particular was standout, the inclusion of seaweed is genius! We also took some cake to take away, which is always a treat. Judit, the owner, used to work at Holy Cow in Edinburgh, so the cakes are always stand out!

Food was really good, between us we had bagels, toast and avo toast. Cakes were so good, we had chocolate berry and orange coconut. Staff were very friendly and attentive to customers.

Read moreI had a small soup and a bagel, both very nice. I also had a coffee and a gluten free lemon blueberry cake. It's great that they cater for people with dietary restrictions. They were 2 staff members short on their first week due to Covid but I think they were still great.

Such an airy and beautifully decorated Cafe on Dunfermlines new row, with fresh baked cakes and loafs of bread. Daily specials and amazing bagels. Loads of the produce used is all sourced from small businesses in Scotland too!
