Unassuming and awesome - Edit
I don’t want you to tell too many people about this place because it’s the kind of place that will eventually have a line out the door…

I AM SO HAPPY - Edit
It had been literally 20 years since I'd had a croissant before Whisk & Rye appeared on the scene. Now chocolate croissants? Cinnamon rolls? Muffins? I brought a huge box to a work meeting and nobody was the wiser.
Read moreThey regularly have at least 4 vegan food options available. They get very busy, but the wait is worth it.
Updated 2025 - the business continues to make great pastries and now roasting their own coffee. They're one of the few shops in the area that still offer soymilk. Now that others are doing it I hope they consider offering alt-milk for no additional fee.

Great cinnamon rolls! - Edit
Love the vegan cinnamon rolls. They are more of a light and airy roll so doesnt feel like a fat bomb, which I enjoy.

Cute little shop with nice staff - Edit
I just missed the vegan cinnamon rolls - once they’re gone for the day, they’re gone. But most of the other pastries are massive. Parking can be difficult on a weekend but there are more spots than I expected. Worth the visit!

Amazing Pastries - Edit
I love this place. The pastries are so good. About half the options are vegan. They have oat, soy, and macadamia milk for coffee. There's also an adorable patio.

Love their pastries - Edit
They have a rotating selection of pastries, including great vegan croissants! And theyre not gluten free! On their website they say they like to have 50% of their baked goods be vegan. The coffee is also good, and macadamia milk is the same price as other options, which is a must try if you haven't. Plus, the staff are always friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Chocolate croissants! - Edit
A good flaky croissant is like the holy grail of vegan pastries, and this place nailed it! The coffee was also tasty - I appreciate the varieties of nondairy milk, including macadamia. They had gluten-free treats too, which was good for my travel companion, but no gluten-free AND vegan options on the day we went. Check their Facebook or Instagram for that day’s pastries.
