Falafel is just okay, service good, owner is full Maga - Edit
Their falafel is okay - not the best. When I'm craving falafel there are better options that are more authentically Middle Eastern. Also, finding out that Oren is full on maga and is upfront about his beliefs is disturbing enough that we won't be giving Oren's Hummus our business anymore.

Expensive - Edit
For what you get it is extremely expensive. I had the rice bowl with vegetable kabab, and the rice was delicious and the vegetables were tasty. But $17 for rice, vegetables and a small pot of tahini? Additionally the eggplant was in a huge block so the middle was raw. Wouldn’t go back unless I had excessive money to get rid of

Much More Than Hummus - Edit
We arrived on a special day, celebrating hummus, so we got a free serving of it. But the other items we had were so much better than headlining dish. My favorite was the baba ganoush, smoky and smooth. A cold appetizer of sliced brussels sprouts with golden raisins was also quite good. Pomegranate-Walnut spread was very sweet, but it grew on me. The side dishes are $5 each, or 3 for $14, so we tried six of them. I felt like I needed to say "vegan, vegan, vegan" as often as possible, since the cashier tried to sell me a yogurt dish even after I said I'm a vegan. But otherwise a lovely lunch, in a fast casual setting.
