Sono stato da Jaa Nu’ Rosticceria Vegana a Genova e mi sono trovato benissimo. I sapori sono delicati ma con carattere, si sente davvero la cura con cui vengono preparati i piatti. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e mettono subito a proprio agio. Ho provato le lasagne con i broccoli e le polpette: entrambe buonissime, leggere ma soddisfacenti. Un posto in cui tornerò sicuramente.

Incredible food, super friendly staff. All food is vegan. They offer some local dishes and even had vegan tiramisu. I had a great lunch and took some extra meals home. Great service, definitely recommend.

Hidden in one of the small alleys is this fantastic vegan buffet. We didn't know what to choose, it all looked so delicious. We chose 2 different pieces of savory pie and a piece of lasagna. Too bad we were only in Genoa for 1 day, otherwise I would go here every day.

I ordered a chocolate base cheesecake with raspberries and blueberries and it was picked up by a friend. All my non-vegan friends loved it too 😋 my hubby and I have never had such a lovely vegan cheesecake.What a fantastic way of celebrating 7 years of marriage.

We bought a lot of typical food of Genoa but vegan versions ☺️ I wasn't able to thank the owner in person for last year, but I left the message with her staff. The food was so tasty and we wished we had the time to pop by when we left because their food would have been very much appreciated travelling on the trains to Paris and then England 😅

Rosticceria vegana con molta scelta e ben organizzata. Eravamo un po' di corsa e abbiamo chiesto di poter avere tutto sigillato da asporto. Molto comodo. Abbiamo preso 2 contenitori belli grandi in cui abbiamo fatto mettere: pasta al forno, tofu con verdure, panzanella e tempeh affumicato con altre verdure (piatto migliore secondo me). Eravamo soddisfatti e strapieni, forse abbiamo esagerato un po' con le porzioni al momento dell'ordine, ma avevamo fame. Costo totale: 21 euro. Onestissimo.

Très bon, beaucoup de choix et possibilité de composer son assiette comme on le souhaite. Il y en a pour tous les goûts, nous avons partagé des plats à 4. Et on paie au poids donc on choisi la quantité qu'on veut : impossible de repartir en ayant faim !

Tante opzioni vegane e finalmente un negozio in cui comprare i “formaggi” del Cashewficio (io sono di Savona e qui non abbiamo nessuno che li venda, purtroppo). Una nota positiva: un ragazzo è passato chiedendo un po’ di verdure e premettendo che non avrebbe avuto i soldi per pagarle, ma le ragazze gli hanno comunque regalato un bel piattone. Brave!!

This is essentially a pay-by-weight deli with a few main dishes and a lot of sides to choose from. You can eat in or takeaway, though there are only about 6 stools at the counter for eating in and it's quite a narrow space. I got a slice of lasagna with soy ragu, which was tasty and creamy. My partner got a slice of broccoli lasagna which was not so good - there was a pleasant taste of broccoli, but the lasagna had essentially merged into just one soft texture with no variety, and it was quite dry. We both enjoyed our sides of cauliflower, fennel, and tempeh with vegetables. We also got a small calzone, which was the highlight of the meal - really tasty. The server was really helpful in explaining the dishes, and heated up our plates for us. It felt like a bit of an oversight to me that there were no potato-based side dishes, but the vegetables were pleasant. We couldn't find too many vegan lunch options on Happy Cow during our visit, and this place was fine in the circumstances, but not mindblowing.

Great place to go for italian food in Genova - Edit
This place is one of the few places in Genova which have a dedicated offer of vegan food. The few other places I looked for where closer due to holidays, so I was very happy to find this!
Read moreYou can mix your ingredients on plates and are priced according to their weight. There are many options to choose from: Lasagne, Tortellini, Oven Potatoes with soy chicken, Hummus, different grilled vegetables, Couscous salad, ... The Hummus was insanely good!
The locality itself is very small with just one narrow room. It's possible to sit inside, but you can also take away your meal.
Furthermore, the staff was very friendly and is tipical italian😄Last but not least: The price is very reasonable for the city!
