This is one of our favorite vegan restaurants in Albuquerque. They’ve got deceptively large portions! I keep going in thinking I’ll order something small and then just ordering something huge and delicious when I walk in! The buffalo sandwich is awesome as are the burritos. Their chopped green chile is perfect!

Holy s*** Wow - Edit
So glad we picked this place for dinner. A huge South Western salad, fries and a massive Philly cheezesteak later and we are still full the next day. Glad we chose those but guessing that everything would have been great. Cute place and great service, too.

Delicious!!! - Edit
Finally for to go to Vegos. The food was so good. We sat outside because we had out dog with us. They could use new picnic tables.😉We both got burritos and they were delicious. Very filling, they’re so big. Looking forward to trying other items.

This is now my second time eating here and I now believe it’s the best vegan place in Albuquerque! A bit weird to get to but I visit, I don’t stay in this particular area.
Read moreThis last time I got chile relleno and a stuffed sopapilla and a juice. I would fly into Albuquerque just for the relleno.
Pros: Best relleno, Vegan conchas, Quiet neighborhood

So cute! - Edit
Fun and funky little place in what appears to be a former gas station. Staff was super friendly and the food was good, but it didn't blow me away. I enjoyed it and will definitely go back, but would choose a different menu item next time. Always down to support vegan places!

Love this vegan joint - Edit
As a local, I eat here all the time! Great food. Their sandwhiches are especially worthwhile. I used to regularly get their chickpea salad sandwich, and was so sad when they stopped serving it. The seitan Philly and their tofu patty "sandos" are delicious, but be warned, they are a little greasy and heavy. If you want New Mexican style, I especially recommend the stuffed sopapilla or the chile relleno - they are difficult to find vegan versions of, and Vegos does them really well! The one thing I'm not a fan of are their burritos. They're not terrible, but just not as flavorful as some of the other stand-out items. They also do a limited number of tamales leading up to Christmas once a year, and they sell out fast. There's a reason this place keeps getting awards for best vegan food in Albuquerque - don't miss out!!

Terrific food and service! - Edit
First time as we are visiting family in area. Welcoming and helpful staff. All meals delicious. Allergy friendly too- cashews in queso that I kinda wished were labeled somewhere but they did ask upfront if any of us had allergies which makes this allergy mom’s heart happy.

A delight! - Edit
A must-try for vegans in or visiting ABQ. The Nobody Calls Me Chicken (get the spicy version) was so tasty, and the sugary strawberry empanada was also tasty. Very kind staff and just a really good lowkey place

I had the buffalo sandwich, it was super tasty and the chick’n texture was on point! Sadly my sandwich wrapper soaked through leaving my hands a saucy mess, so I had to eat quick.

Amazing!! - Edit
I stopped by in November 2024 while visiting family for Thanksgiving, and I had such a great experience that I looked Vegos back up to tell a friend about. I loved the sopapilla (dreaming about them still) and brought some conchas for my flight home which were the perfect treat. This is a must go if you are in the area! Can't wait to go back!

I had the Seitan burrito smothered with red and green and it was SO good. The burritos were definitely worth getting, but the menu has so many options, it might be hard to pick!

Now wish I lived in Albuquerque - Edit
A very special spot whose founder and chef obviously worked hard to replicate authentic food. The chile relleno was an absolute masterpiece. Have had elote versions my whole life but never as amazing as theirs. And don’t be afraid of the magic they did to tofu. If you know you know.

Incredible Dish! - Edit
Normally when I look over a menu I find things that sound good, but rarely do I find something which gets me as excited as the Sandia Burrito here. I use sweet potatoes for all kinds of things so this dish got my full attention and I was very very happy with my choice.
Read moreI also spoiled myself to some conchas, they were also pretty great! The staff was fun to chat with and even gave me some tips on ordering from their "secret menu" next time, like the Nobody Calls Me Chicken with a concha bun. Definitely looking forward to trying that the next time I pass through. 🤤
Pros: Sweet Potato Burrito!, Dessert Bread!, Amazing Staff!
