Great cafe for vegan breakfast - Edit
I have been walking the Saints Way with my friends who are vegetarian and I am a vegan. It’s calorie burning stuff hiking! I found this lovely cafe using the Happy Cow website. The staff were very friendly and there was a good atmosphere. It is very popular. I will definitely recommend and return.

Cute little brunch/lunch spot. I had an oat milk flat white, bean and aubergine tacos and ciabatta and hummus. Reasonable prices. The ciabatta and hummus was only £4! It was all very tasty. They stop serving food at 3pm.

Good to see a few vegan options on the menu, including vegan breakfast and a toasted ciabatta. Lovely smoothies and vegan milkshakes too! Would love to see even more food options, but this is a great stop off in Fowey!

All pancakes at Brown Sugar are vegan as standard, you can then choose to add vegan, veggie or meat toppings. Plenty of vegan options available on the menu, including a full English fry up! They also have oat milk available for tea and coffee. Plus, dogs are allowed indoors on the ground floor and outside.
Read moreIt is very busy though - a small space combined with being popular means you may be in for a wait! The staff are accomodating and helpful, so if you let them know you're waiting for a table, they'll keep an eye out and let you know when one will be available. You can order drinks, cakes and sandwiches to take away. Just wait outside to save space!
Don't forget to order at the till and take your table number, we saw some people waiting to be served and confused when hurried staff weren't taking their order!
Had the vegan pancake stack with vegan yogurt and berries. The best pancakes I've ever had! Partner had maple and bacon, and the dog was kindly given some treats!
Highly recommend.

Unfortunately I can’t review the food, so this is just a review of my experience. I was looking forward to eating here, however I stood waiting to ask for a table for 2, only to be ignored by all 3 staff, so went elsewhere.

This is a great cafe with lots of inside and outside seating. The selection of vegan options was really good especially the selection of home made cakes! I had the vegan lentil burger which was fantastic, really tasty and great portion size. Really good value for money. Service is brilliant too, really friendly staff. Highly recommend.
