Whenever we pass through Berwick, we try and stop by Scicchitano’s! The owner and his family are very helpful about what is and isn’t vegan. The pizzas are large, the dough is tasty (not overly crispy, perfect thickness), the sauce is savory, the Daiya cheese is perfectly portioned. The breadsticks are solid, too. Don’t even get me started on the desserts, which are a godsend. It’s hard to find any vegan desserts in even vegan-friendly restaurants, so this place is a real gem in that the desserts are incredible.

Amazing vegan pizza and vegan deserts!!! - Edit
We live about an hour away and come here whenever we are nearby. The family makes amazing vegan options and is very knowledgeable about vegan products. We’ve had the pizza, breadsticks, garlic knots, and multiple desserts, all are awesome, the desserts are next level. The vegan cheesecake is unreal!! Everybody here is super nice and will answer any questions about the available vegan options.

Unsure on “Vegan” Options - Edit
We found this place in the middle of nowhere as we were driving through Pennsylvania, and it had 5 vegan options on the menu labeled as vegan. Stromboli, Pizza, Breadsticks, Spaghetti, and one other. I ordered the pizza and my father ordered the Stromboli. Both of ours looked like vegan cheese. The stromboli had some form of vegan meat in it too.
Read moreThe one thing that I was slightly unsure of was the parmesan on the stromboli and breadsticks. I’ve had quite a few vegan parmesans before, but this place did not read like a place that would have v parm. The thing that made me concerned on whether the options were truly vegan was my mom and sister ordered spaghetti and tomato sauce and got served actual meat balls.
Overall, the cheese pizza was extremely bland and the sauces for all of the dishes had no flavor. The spaghetti dishes were also burnt. I had higher hopes based on the photos people had previously posted of this place.

The fact that there is a place in this small town that has vegan pizza is amazing. It’s made with Daiya cheese and it’s a good pizza. There are also some vegan desserts and a vegan doagie. I haven’t tried that yet but I’ll be back!

Pizza was good. I would not say it was great pizza. But peanut-butter cake was very good . I would have it again. Updated: the cake was so delicious that made me return to the pizza place and get 2 more pieces.

What a warm and welcoming local pizza spot! The vegan bread sticks and veggies lovers pizza with vegan cheese are a most have if you are in the Berwick area. The owner was super nice and seemed excited to have a vegan customer which is a nice change of pace. Go check this place out!!!

If you find yourself in the Berwick area don't miss Scicchitano's! I had fresh baked pizza with vegan mozzarella and veggies and it was delightful. Just like I remember from childhood in NJ. I also had their house made cookie cake which was incredible, as well as the breadsticks.

Schics was my favorite pizza place growing up, I was so excited to find out they carried veg now! I got a veggie lovers pizza with vegan cheese and it was sooo good! Mushrooms, onion, peppers, and black olives. They also carry a selection of vegan bakery options, I tried the chocolate cake with chocolate icing and it was fantastic! It's so great seeing more veg options around here!

Whenever we visit our parents in Berwick, I check Happy Cow for new listings and was overjoyed to see a pizza place pop up this time! The bread sticks, pizza, coconut cream pie, peanut butter chocolate cake and chocolate cake were all wonderful. The owner came to our table to chat, he seemed very happy to have vegan customers.

This is a local, family owned pizza place! The online menu doesn’t include the vegan options but there are plenty. Just call and speak with the owner! The couples daughter is vegan so they do a great job of accommodating us! The food is from scratch and is excellent. They are friendly too! I’ll be eating here a lot while I’m in town.
