Great vegan spot - Edit
The inside of 100% HP is genuinely beautiful. The art is incredible, it’s very spacious, and clean. The staff are friendly and bilingual, if that’s a concern. The food is delicious and we hope to come back before we leave PR!

Good food - Edit
The food was amazing and there were a lot of options. The menu was huge. The staff wasn’t really that friendly and there was no English menu. I know a good amount of Spanish but it was still challenging to read the menu and the staff weren’t the most helpful

A great menu with options for even the most hard-core "carnivores"! I had a bistec sandwich which was really tasty.

Vegan comfort food in PR! - Edit
This place has definitely perfected American - style vegan junk food! From the onion rings to a classic beyond/impossible burger, I promise you can’t tell the difference between this & you favorite vegan fast food spot is the states. The menu is fully vegan & is fully Spanish (the staff were fluent in Spanish & English so ordering was easy)
Read moreI got the typical Impossible burger combo with onion rings but for some reason, it tasted way fresher than an Impossible burger in the states! Definitely will be my go-to spot next time I’m in PR

Great vegan Puerto Rican options. Alcapurria was good, liked the pizza empanadillas more than beef, cheap beer, yummy milkshakes. Buffalo sandwich is actually bbq, not buffalo. Still good though! Seriously enjoyed this spot after a long day walking around Viejo San Juan

100% HP - Edit
It was OK. This is definitely vegan junk food but at least they offer a salad. The impossible empanada was overrated in my opinion, it was just dry and seemed to be missing something. The plate I ordered was not that great and the seitan had a strange flavor. I was not given salad dressing (or even olive oil) for my salad so it was pretty boring.

Excellent take on Puerto Rican food - Edit
Glad I finally had time to check this spot out. Like many places now, you need to scan for the menu and if you are unfamiliar with PR cuisine like me then you may need to ask for explanations. The food is really fresh but just wished the served on real plates and silverware. Vegan restaurants also need to consider the impact of plastic trash pollution and serving disposable utensils and plastic straws and cups left me disappointed in the total dining experience. But I would come here again for the delicious food and just bring my own utensils.

Offer vegetables.
Read moreNot forget to complete the order especially when it’s to go.
Pros: The only pro is the art and seating area.
Cons: It’s a vegan place but they don’t have veggies???, 3 dollars just for a tiny cup of pico de gallo. , Payed for beans and rice and beans were missing.
LliguerPR96
The reason they dont usually work with a lot of vegetables is because their vision of offering food is comfort vegan food, they say "we fool carnivores" so they offer a lot of vegan meats.
Read moreAnd yes, the rice & beans/peas, we've told them to fix it multiple times, cause it's dry/undercooked so they need to cook it a little more time, but idky they havent changed it yet.

Delicious even w delivery - Edit
We had food delivered w Doordash and it was prompt, food was fresh. Loaded fries were delicious though the regular fries of course a little cold by the the time they got here. The cheesesteak was cheesy and our favorite. Spicy and buffalo chicken sandwiches were also very good, and filling. The empanadas were ok, mostly bc we wanted to try local foods.
Read moreWe ate in person a second time since they are open later than many other vegan places in San Juan. It makes for a nice 20 min walk from Condado but don’t use Google maps (goes through more sketchy areas), cross over Puente Dos Hermanos/Ashford Ave to the west instead and then left, then follow GPS.
Like others mentioned, the spacious indoor eating area is across the street from the kitchen. You order and pay online and the “host” brings it to you. This time we enjoyed steak sandwiches and the chicken fajita quesadilla (enormous serving).
Mac and cheese was nice and gooey but you could taste the “sweetness” of soy milk.

Meh - Edit
I came in about an hour before they closed. Some of the food was delicious, some wasn't. The rice and peas (the majority of the meal) were incredibly dry. It tasted like it was made in the morning before they opened and sat out all day. The alcapurria HP was delicious, but was very small in comparison to the rest of the food. It included a piece of garlic bread (tasty) and a salad (just lettuce and tomato, no dressing). I would go back, but next time I will avoid the rice and salad.

Authentic Puerto Rican Cuisine - Edit
My husband is Puerto Rican and has been dying to show me all his favorite dishes and he was blown away by this place! We had empanadillas, alcapurrias, Paella de carne and tostones rellenos de carrucho (by far our favourite!). They all tasted like actual meat and seafood, so you’re not missing out on any local flavors! This right now is the new vegan Chinchorreo! 🇵🇷😍 we‘re going back again tonight for some more!

great food, cool space - Edit
We loved this place. A couple of complications:
Read more- I'm still not sure if it's called Maui Burgers or 100%HP. Either way, it's good!
- The cooking space is on one side of the street, and the dining area is on the other side of the street. We accidentally walked into the cooking area.
The good news:
- The space is very cool.
- The food is very good.
- The service is friendly.
- It's all vegan!

Vegan takes on local cuisine - Edit
Pretty solid take on the local cuisine. We had the rellenos de papa, the impossible Alcapurria and the La mixta, which was more than enough food for 2.
Read moreThe rellenos de papa were my favorite, well salted, cozy and comforting food with some delicious beans on the side. The impossible alcapurria would have been fantastic, however the outside was a smidge dry, and the rice that came with it was just plain underdone. The La mixta has some delicious fake meat but same problem with the rice unfortunately.
Glad I tried it out but for the long wait times, I would have preferred the rice to have been cooked properly.
