Simple Sausage Stroganoff

    Instructions

    Cook the rice according to the package's instructions.
    Chop up the onion into large pieces.
    Halve the sausages lengthwise. Halve the halves lengthwise once more. Lastly, cut each sausage 3 times crosswise.
    Fry the onion and the vegan sausages for 5-10 minutes in a large saucepan.
    Add the crushed tomatoes, crème fraîche and salt to the saucepan.
    Mix the ingredients thoroughly and allow the mixture to boil for 10 minutes.
    Serve the sausage stroganoff with the rice.

    Ingredients

    1 tablespoon oil of choice
    1 large onion
    4-5 medium-sized vegan sausages
    400-500 gram crushed tomatoes
    200 mL plant-based crème fraîche
    1-2 cup cooked rice
    1-2 teaspoon salt
