Tasty meal. Meh service.

Tasty banh bao and broken rice dish with tofu. The waitress gave me the menu, then stood there while I looked over the 10 or so pages. I got two of the same dish, though I only ordered one. I was UNDERcharged when I went to pay. I speak very basic Vietnamese, but nobody said 2 words to me until I was leaving and paying.

Pros: Banh bao, Broken rice with tofu

Cons: Service was awkward at best.

Varied and delicious

I visited twice in two days. The soups have a deep, intense broth; the salads are light and not too spicy. Great bahn mi too.
Prices are on the high side, 60,000 VNDfor soups and salads; rice cakes 85,000VND. All were unique and enjoyable.
Lunch times are really busy.

Pros: Variety., Uniquely flavoured dishes., Quiet atmosphere.

Cons: A tad expensive., Busy sometimes.

Excellent food with a huge menu

Don't forget to take a look at the wide variety of vegan food you won't find elsewhere in just one location. The basic soups are incredibly tasty, so make sure to order some to accompany the banh mi or banh dao. Everything is delicious, so it gets crowded.

Pros: Variety of vegan food, Soups!, Reasonably -priced for the tourist zone

Cons: Gets crowded

Nice little place with good selection

I loved the Pho Hanoi. But saw many more good looking dishes on other tables

Quan Chay Sala - where locals eat

Reasonably priced simple dishes are served here but flavourful! I enjoyed my dinner. The service was prompt and friendly too!

Quite a few locals patronised the place when I was there. The relaxed atmosphere was really nice.

Simple but nice food

Small cafe feel, serving Vietnamese style food. A reasonable menu, and at a good price.

Pros: Good price, Local style vegan/vegetarian food

Yummy

Great little joint that is frequented by locals. The menu is extensive with a range of different styled food. It was slightly expensive, but this is Siagon. Their Bahn Mi stall outfront is great, but you need to ask for no butter/mayonnaise as even though it says "vegan bread," it is, in fact, not vegan.

Pros: Soups are fantastic , Mushroom dishes are a big part of the menu, Vegan bao outfront

Cons: Bahn Mi not vegan by default

Yummy Bahn mi and bao

I came for the Bahn mi which was awesome but got the bao also which was fluffy and delish! Big menu for other dishes as well. They also have soy milk for coffee which I have had trouble finding. Friendly staff.

Great food at affordable prices

Standard Vietnamese vegan food. Good service. Clean restaurant. Always busy with locals. That's always a good sign.
Sadly some dishes have eggs in them. Be careful

Basic food

We ate in the restaurant, not at the Banh Mi stall. Good menu but the food was only okay. Spring (summer) rolls were so tough they were inedible but the peanut sauce was great. The rest of the food was okay. It was cheap but not worth going out of your way for.

Great place!

A wonedrful little restaurant, the staff is super-friendly. Most of the options are vegan, two things on the menu contain eggs - one of them is marked on menu. The othet thing is mayo they put in banh mi, but you can ask the staff to not use it. The prices are ok, you can easily get full just for 5-7$

Pros: Lots of vegan options, friendly staff, good prices

Cons: Service can get long during rush hours

Good food!

Great vegetable springrolls and the nicest sauce going along with it.
The Fried Oyster shrooms we're really delicious and smelled like coconut oil so was a bit sceptic but it did the trick! Would definately come back if i wasn't leaving ho chi minh!

Delicious steamed dumplings and Banh Mi!

First of all we got a little bit confused because this app shows near this restaurant another Banh Mi place. This place can be a little bit more expensive if you choose main dishes. We tried the steamed dumplings (25,000VND) and the Banh Mi (20,000VND). I think you can get them cheaper elsewhere but they were pretty tasty.

Pros: VEGAN steamed dumplings , tasty Banh Mi with glass noodles, friendly people working there

Cons: a little bit more expensive than maybe other plac, es

Nice meal

Delicious pho - not the best I’ve ever had but it was definitely right up there! Bao bun was tasty too.
Pretty sure this is one of those places that cheekily charges extra for the napkins on the table, so we didn’t use them.

Best Banh Mi

The Banh Mi’s are really good, just be careful to ask for no mayo if you’re vegan.

Very good Pho

First thing to note is this place isn’t fully vegan. It serves cows milk and egg. Looked like they might serve mayo with the Banh Mi as well, but that’s unconfirmed.

However, the Pho here was very good. Banana smoothie was also decent, though I had tiny bits of plastic in the drink. Most likely plastic stuck to the frozen banana or ice and then blended in. But still, not very good.

Good prices and good atmosphere.

Pros: Cheap, Lots of vegan options, Tasty Pho

Cons: Not fully vegan , Found bits of plastic in my smoothie

Nice place'

The staff we had was really friendly and the food was also very good! Price is moderate, but okay😄they also have a little store where not all products are vegan (they have 2 packs of sacha inchi seeds (omega3!) of which one of them is witch cheese)! I don't really even know if everything in the menu is vegan..

Pros: Good food and friendly staff

Cons: Not sure if everything's vegan

Ok

It has a big menu, friendly staff, much space inside.
We ordered a rice dish with vegetables and tofu (it was nothing special) it came with a small bowl of soup (the soup was pretty good)
The spring rolls tasted good, the dumpling also.
We had the rice dish, a dumpling, 2 spring rolls, a fresh coconut and ice tea. In total it was 120vnd.
We went there again and tried the soups (I had the Pho - it's extremely delicious)

Great place to try vegan versions of Vietnamese dishes

My boyfriend and I chose this restaurant because we wanted to eat a dish with broken rice. We ordered both broken rice dishes, as well as some fresh spring rolls and were each given a small bowl of complimentary soup. We also ordered a passion fruit juice and a soya milk with chia seeds. Everything was delicious and only came to 187 VND. The restaurant was busy with locals (we went at lunch time) but we were seen quickly. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Pros: Value for money , Nice staff , Lots of choice

Cons: Plastic straws
