Dit restaurant biedt een volledige vegan menu aan dat iedere maand wijzigt.

We aten hier reeds meerdere keren en de gerechten zijn heel lekker en verfijnd!
Het restaurant is ondergebracht in een oude watermolen.
Ideaal ook voor feesten en grote groepen.
Heel goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding!

Delicious vegan menu - Edit
This is always a great experience. It's too bad that they offer the menu in a leather binding and have butter already on the tables. However, after our request, we got vegan butter. We went for the seasonal 4-course vegan menu without drinks. We have had it before and they know what they are doing. All dishes were nicely executed, with original flavours and textures. My favourite this time was the leek potato dish. In this area, this is one of the best vegan options. Keep an eye out for their seasonal menu.

Beautiful, fine dining experience, with some caveats - Edit
First, the caveats are that they put out a pat of non-vegan butter at every table and the menus are leather. The butter especially bothered us since it was just a waste of an animal product. As someone else mentioned, the restaurant is not accessible due to stairs.

The restaurant itself is beautiful and unique. It was a very nice ambiance.
We ordered the 4-course vegan menu. You can get it with either alcohol or non-alcoholic drinks for 69 Euros, or I believe about 54 without drinks. The non-alcoholic aperitif was very tasty. A bottle of water for the table as well as coffee or tea was included in the price. One thing I didn't like was that they came by multiple times to offer wine to the people who ordered alcohol, but never once offered the people who ordered the non-alcoholic accompaniment anything that was supposed to come with it, like soft drinks. We could have asked ourselves, but I thought it was very strange that people who ordered alcohol were frequently offered drinks and those who ordered non-alcoholic were not, even though the price was the same.
The entire experience was 3 hours 15 minutes. The courses were:
Amuses de chef: kimchi, hummus, and guacamole, eaten with a cute little spork. This was the only dish I didn't think was great, and only because the guacamole tasted like it was made from frozen avocados. It made me wonder if the chef had ever had real guacamole.
Leeks with mashed potatoes in a coconut curry: this was excellent. It was an unusual combination that went well together.
Dashi with vegetable garnish: this was a tasty broth with thin mushrooms and carrots. I enjoyed it.
Lentil patties with potatas bravas and roasted cauliflower and zucchini, with basil sauce: this was an excellent dish. It all went well together. I would have liked the lentil patty recipe.
Sorbet with yogurt, coconut foam, and filo crisps: the dessert was probably my favorite part. I could have eaten that coconut foam all night. It had creamy pineapple or something like that in it.
Coffee or tea, with candies and speculoos cookies: Those who picked tea were brought out a large tea menu to pick from, which was pretty cool. The fruit candies were good.

Jammer dat er geen lekker alcohol vrij alternatief is bij de menu. We kregen enkel een roman limonade.

Nice food, but long wait - Edit
The food was OK. It's not really fine dining, but more like brasserie cuisine.

The menu is very reasonably priced:
- 50 euro for 4-course menu
- 62 euro with drinks included (we had a bottle of sparkling water, a mocktail, a tonic and coffee/tea).
Which is very good value for money!
A very long wait though.
We arrived at noon and immediately ordered the vegan menu.
The entree came at 12.45, the soup at 1.30, the main at 2...)
We left at 3pm. (Very long, also considering the vegan menu is not that complicated or different from the non-vegan one, eg the main is practically the same with duck instead of quorn).
So that was a pity.
Very friendly service!
Accessibility: not accessible: steep stairs coming in, to reach the restaurant floor. No accessible toilet. Toilets clean.
*yes, vegan quorn. Im no fan of quorn, and it had been years since I ate it. I was hoping of ordering a la carte, but the only vegan main I saw was this same dish. So my partner had most of my quorn too 😁

Fine vegan dining - Edit
This place is an absolute gem. Fine dining of a five course vegan menu including plenty of wine and a bottle of water for €62. The menu was really well thought out, the presentation was excellent, proper fine dining for a bargain price.

My husband and I have the vegan menu with wine pairing and the food was excellent. It is a reasonable price for really good food in a beautiful setting.

We namen de 5 gangen (winter) menu, geweldige smaken, het enige waar ik schrik van had door groenten die ik normaal niet lust waren het lekkerste gerecht. Super verrast, gaan normaal niet veel uit eten door de beperkte vegan opties. Eerste maal dat ik fine dining heb mogen ervaren en hebben al een volgende reservatie voor de lente menu. Verdient 5 sterren

Perfecte bediening en heerlijk eten - Edit
Echt een heel goed restaurant! Het vegan menu is heerlijk. Het is een absolute aanrader. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze passen zich met veel plezier aan alles aan. Wanneer je in de buurt bent zou ik zeker eens langs gaan. Ook heel leuk dat je een menu met drank inbegrepen kan nemen. Dit hoeft geen wijn te zijn maar je kan ook a volonté frisdrank of water krijgen. Het verdient 5 sterren maar dat kon ik niet geven in de app omdat het niet volledig veganistisch is. Maar het verdient zeker 5 sterren!
