Okay food - Edit

The restaurant serves traditional German food and offers one vegan dish. Based on previous reviews on different platforms it seems like this is a new development that I highly appreciate. Especially on the countryside it's often not easy to find restaurants that offer vegan dishes.

They offer a vegan burger with a breaded vegan patty with an optional side of fries. The patty seemed to be the vegan schnitzel of a brand that you can buy in the supermarket. Which is fine for a first try on a vegan dish.

The two burgers we had unfortunately were prepared inconsistently, one was completely fine while the other was not too great. One of the patties was fired and crispy while the other seemed not to be at all. One of them had way to much sauce and liquids (probably not completely drained water from washing the greens) which made it soggy and drippy - it was impossible to put the burger down after picking it up due to the puddle forming on the plate. This also affected the otherwise good taste.

In short:
The food was alright, but there is definitely room for improvement. The development of offering a full vegan dish in a traditional restaurant in a small town like this is highly appreciated.
