Really inclusive - Edit
Loads of vegan options, for starters, mains and side dishes. Their vegan cheese is made specially for them in Italy - really good on pizza. The only thing I would say is that they should have more vegan friendly desserts. At the moment, it's just sorbet (which is lovely!) but it'd be nice to have more choice. But would highly recommend and definitely going again!

My favourite vegan pizza - Edit
Zizzi has my favourite vegan pizza! This branch in Manchester is quite nice because it‘s so spacious. I stayed in the city on my own and liked to take a seat in the basement area, it was very quiet and relaxed and I could sit there after finishing my pizza and read a book with another drink.
Read moreAs said above, I love the pizza. It has really good vegan cheese, not the nasty artificially tasting one that you often get in chain restaurants.

Amazing vegan pizzas - Edit
Lots of vegan pizza and pasta options, and a regularly updated menu. I recently had their new jackfruit pepperoni vegan pizza with very convincing pepperoni and vegan cheese, and the vegan millionaire's slice for dessert which is one of the best vegan restaurant desserts I have tried!

Decadent! - Edit
I only popped in for dessert as I wanted to try the millionaires slice and it did not disappointed! A very generous size, beautifully presented. Lush, soft caramel combined with very rich chocolate. I loved it!!

Without A Doubt The Best Vegan Pizza!! - Edit
Zizzi again, is without a doubt the best Vegan Pizza you can get from a restaurant! It tops Pizza Express, or any other Vegan Pizza of the like... It has the widest range of toppings, for example, you can even get butternut squash on your pizza, or caramelised onions. There’s two types of size or style of pizza you can choose from, and it comes with the most delicious Vegan cheese made from coconut milk; none of that cheddar crap. I highly recommend if you’re a pizza lover like me.........

Nice - Edit
Ordered classic pizza with vegan cheese. It was really tasty, up until the cheese started to soak through and make it soggy and hard to eat with fingers. I think they just put on too much cheese, easily corrected. Other than that, a really satisfying meal :)

Great Vegan Options - Edit
Zizzi have recognised the massive increase in demand for vegan options and introduced a great vegan menu.
Read moreTheir vegan menu has plenty of choice, with two kinds of olives, garlic bread, bruschetta, pasta, side dishes and of course Margherita pizza, which can be customised with extra toppings, in addition to the mozzarella dairyfree alternative made by Mozzarisella. The cheese is made from germinated brown rice, so suitable for diners with gluten intolerance and as Zizzi also have a gluten free pizza base available, no diners are left out. There is a vegan dessert of nectarini filled with coconut and mango swirl, with optional caramelised pecans and vegan wines are clearly highlighted on the menu too.
They even specify which wines are vegan friendly which is nearly all of them.
I ordered Nocellara olives to start, which were really tasty followed by Margherita pizza with artichokes and chillies. The pizza was pretty perfect, the base was just the right thickness, well cooked and dusted with polenta underneath to stop the base going soggy. The tomato sauce and the toppings, not too much, not too little, were spot on, so much so, I devoured every morsel.
The cheese is not stringy like normal mozzarella, but I was won over, even though I am not a fan of vegan cheese alternatives, I thought it was excellent. Sadly I was too full for dessert, maybe next time!
I had a chat with Manager Ben, who said that since introducing the vegan menu, there had been a noticeable increase in diners, particularly large groups, as the vegan menu encompassed so many dietary requirements.
Pros: Vegan Menu, Vegan Wines, Great food
