Das vegane Angebot ist in Ordnung. Auf spezielle Wünsche wurde nicht eingegangen, der Service wirkte sehr unfreundlich und unstrukturiert. Beim Nachbartisch stand ewig noch Geschirr auf dem Tisch bis es abgeräumt wurde. Unsere Vorspeise war vor den Getränken da. Das Essen war teilweise leicht angebrannt.

We had the vegan Pizza which was really good. Sadly the restaurant was super packed with tables and quite noisy. The staff was a bit too professional and seemed distanced to us. You should be aware, this is a Chain and not a family run restaurant.

Had the vegan meatless meatballs as starter, which were really nice. Also we tried the only vegan pizza 🍕 on the menu, which even though one options is not that much, was very very delicious. Can definitely recommend these ones!

Me and my family tried Zizzi here for the first time, May 2023. The staff were very friendly and we were served very shortly after ordering. The menu has a positive selection of vegetarian and a few vegan options and their location is good, just by the river. We ordered a garlic bread starter, mushroom brindisi, Lentil ragu and classic pinoli. All the food was very tasty, my mum especially liked the pinoli and I thought the lentil ragu was superb, lovely chewy wildfarm pasta! They were also happy to bring us extra plates so we could share stuff out. However, my dad was less impressed with the mushroom brindisi, which wasn’t quite what he had been expecting. Also, I suppose you could argue that both the garlic bread and pizza were a little oily maybe? But apart from that the only thing was it was a little noisy, and would be better if it were more spacious. Overall, tasty Italian food but not luxury dining, what you’d expect for a not too costly chain restaurant. Nice little night out!

No Flexibility to Change Anything on Menu - Edit
We wanted to order a veg pizza with no vegan cheese and a side salad with no cheese. Our server told us that was not possible, and she suggested we talk with her manager. The manager stated that Zizzi's policy is to make NO modifications to anything on the menu. He included in this strict policy even omitting anything from the item, which was what we were asking for. We left frustrated and disappointed, especially based on the other reviews. If you go here, you need to be aware of this.

They have a dedicated vegan menu (just tell the host you are vegan so they give it to you), lot’s of options including a dessert and pretty good tasting food.

The pizza was very good as was the garlic bread! The spaghetti could use some more flavor.
Also the food that came out had vegan stickers on the plates! Very nice touch.

we had dinner there. as a starter we had the vegan meatballs. my girlfriend went for the vegan lasagne and i had the spicy vegan pizza. everything was extreemly yummy. we totally recommend going there when u visit inverness.

In my opinion, Zizzi has the best vegan pizzas ever!!! I just absolutely love their pizzas because they are done so well and their vegan cheeses are delicious and not the nasty stuff you get sometimes.

This restaurant is located close to the river and therefore has a very nice ambiance. It gets crowded in the evenings, though, so it might be best to make a reservation.

Separate vegan menu that you must ask for makes ordering as a vegan easy. The meal I had was vegan and my friend had a veggie meal, we both throughly enjoyed. It was her birthday and the waiter was so great, added a candle to her dessert and took her meal and dessert off the bill! Highly recommend

This seemed to be our very best choice in Inverness. It was such a good choice that there was a line out the door. It might have been super busy this particular night because there was a marathon the following morning. They have a separate vegan menu which is always nice. We ordered the bolegnese that had a meaty texture due to the lentils. We also had the vegan margarita pizza with cheese. The vegan cheese is made of coconut so it was delicious! We would definitely come back next time! There were so many things to try!

Zizzis is a really great place for vegans and is getting better in food and knowledge. They have a separate menu on request with customisable pizza, a couple of pasta and dessert options along with salad and sides as well as all wines except 2 being vegan. soy milk is also available separately with tea and coffee, but unfortunately not heated threw their machine because of cross contamination. me and my other half have been multiple times and are never disappointed I only hope over time they will continue to develop their vegan menu.
