Had a great night at zizzis- we had the pizza crisps appetiser, vegan spicy jackfruit pizza main, then zillionaires slice and sorbet for dessert.

Even though Zizzi is a chain, they actually have quite a nice vegan menu (which you have to ask for) with three pizzas, two pasta dishes and some starters and desserts. We had the pizzas and they tasted really nice (but at 10-12 pounds each were a little expensive, particularly given that this is a chain restaurant).
Read moreDrink selection is not so nice and very expensive, but you can always order tap water for free. Also, expect to wait a long time for your food, which might be good or bad depending on your expectations.

Vegan cheese for pizza and delicious vegan desserts! - Edit
Wow - at this pasta/pizza place they don’t only have pasta with tomato sauce and pizza which you can order without cheese, but they have a whole vegan menu (you have to ask for it)! They have vegan “cheese” for the pizza, which is coconut oil based. I tried one of their pizzas. The dough is so tasty! There was a lot of vegan cheese on it, but as it doesn’t get crusty it was like having pizza with a lot of sauce on it. It was good anyway. Really amazing is the chocolate and praline torte! Staff is very friendly and helpful.

I have a strong hatred of vegan cheese but I love the one they have on top of these pizzas (which are also super customisable too)! Also have a few vegan desserts too which is brilliant!!
