Excellent staff and tasty vegan options - Edit
Normally, a chain like Zizzi would be associated with so-so customer service, poor quality food and waiting staff who find the customers an inconvenience. However, I'm happy to report that isn't the case here.
Read moreThe staff are friendly, the food is of good quality and it's also very good value for money. All of the wine is suitable for vegans bar 1 bottle, so top marks here too.
I have to say, Zizzi probably do the best vegan pizza you can find in Glasgow, so definitely worth a visit if you like your pizza!
Recommended.
Pros: Location, Nice staff, Good food and wine
Cons: Not 100% vegan

Mediocre - Edit
Vegan garlic bread was dry with roasted whole garlic cloves on top - was meant to have smoked garlic oil and rosemary on top too but didn’t. Had to wait quite a while for food too. Amazing dessert though, offer a vegan ice cream too.

Long wait for a good pizza - Edit
Even though Zizzi is a chain, they actually have quite a nice vegan menu (which you have to ask for) with three pizzas, two pasta dishes and some starters and desserts. We had the pizzas and they tasted really nice (but at 10-12 pounds each were a little expensive, particularly given that this is a chain restaurant).
Read moreDrink selection is not so nice and very expensive, but you can always order tap water for free. Also, expect to wait a long time for your food, which might be good or bad depending on your expectations.
The location itself is really nice and worth the visit alone!
Pros: Good vegan pizzas, Vegan menu, nice location
Cons: have to ask for the vegan menu, pricey, long wait

Good food .. if it arrives. - Edit
I ve been there couple of times and on both occasions food arrived beyond 20-30 min mark. In which time staff did not approach to ask if we need drinks etc. Food once provided is lovely. Personally I ve not came bk because I really dont like waiting for a long time for food without being warned it takes a while to make x y z. I frequent other pizzerias and had not similar experience.

Best Vegan Pizza - Edit
The vegan zuca pizza is simply excellent, as is the lentil ragu. I haven't found a better vegan pizza in Scotland

Good vegan pizza - Edit
As it's not easy to find a vegan place open after 7:00 PM in Glasgow we ate twice at Zizzi.
Read moreThis old building is great : it's in the Royal Exchange and the pizzas are made in an open space in the center of the restaurant. There is a separate vegan menu (you have to ask for it), a gluten free menu and a precise list of all the allergens ingredients etc. The vegan pizza (Margarita) we had was ok : vegan mozzarella and you can choose your toppings.
But even if the team is friendly it seems that Zizzi is not vegan with ethically convictions but more for commercial reasons as it serves also meat.
Anyway, we got some vegan pizza, so...

Vegan pizza - Edit
Amazing vegan cheezy pizza and a really good separate menu vegan menu! Just ask for the allergy menu! The staff were all really helpful as I couldn't finish my pizza and I got to take it away in a wee box! Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Great - Edit
Went the other week, I find it really hard to find somewhere to go where me and my non vegan friends can eat. I was so surprised to see that they had a vegan menu and a completely vegan pizza (even with vegan cheese). Great place and great environment
