BEST VEGAN FOOD IN SLO! - Edit
Wow! We were not expecting it to be THIS good! We ordered the Phoenix burger, Avalon burger, KCB (cauliflower bites) and their fries. Everything was absolutely delicious and we feel great after eating it. Such a clean and flavorful meal. This will now be a staple when we visit the area again. Thank you!

The best Burger I’ve ever had - Edit
You guys I travel a lot and try many Vegan restaurants and the Phoenix Burger that I had here was the best Vegan burger I’ve ever had and that’s not saying it lightly. Go try it. I’m sure everything else is just as amazing!

I cannot express my excitement that a vegan restaurant was coming to slo, but what I can say is that it did live up to my expectations and surpass them. The food was ready quickly, the menu was extensive and the workers were super nice. The food was amazing, the dirty fries are like what I remember animal style fries from In-N-Out being like but so much better and so much crispier. We also got the Phoenix burger and it was super good, but not too spicy. It was expensive, but not outrageous for vegan takeout in my opinion. This is definitely a must visit and I hope it sticks around.

Great Burgers - Edit
Had the mushroom burger with the Ziggy patty, avocado taco, and fries. Everything was excellent! Burger was hot with lots of mushrooms. Taco had plenty of mixed greens on top with very good sauce. Would highly recommend to vegans and non-vegans alike.

Pigs fly! - Edit
A winged pig is the logo for Ziggy's, the newest plant-based eatery in SLO. Burgers are at the top of the menu, but I skipped down to Tacos. The Baja subs fried cauliflower for the fish taco vibe, while the Avocado has the kale slaw, mildly spicy chipotle sauce and corn tortilla, but with fried avocado wedges. Both were tasty. Yelpers raved about the Dirty Fries, so I ponied up $5.95 for a side. Kinda gooey, with Follow Your Heart cheese, grilled onions and Ziggy's sauce. It's all vegan so it gets my vote. Next time I'll try a Ziggy Patty burger (they also offer Impossible burger) or maybe an Avocado Egg roll.
