Great Food

I really like their breakfast burrito, the KCB, the Onion Rings, the dirty fries, and their breakfast sandwich but I just had the impossible taquitos and they were alright but I wouldn’t recommend them as their other items are way better. I think the place is amazing and there definitely needs to be more places like this, but it is pretty expensive. As someone who eats a decent amount for being around 200lbs it can add up to about $30 for the whole meal. I would say the goal should be around a $20 with like a $11 main and like a $5 side or two but if you’re comfortable with spending a little more than you normally do on some amazing vegan food then this place is definitely worth it

Pros: Very Yummy

Cons: Decently costly

Best onion rings!

We had the Ziggy patty burgers and black bean taquitos which were all outstanding. Do not miss out on the onion rings! Friendly staff too!

All About The KCK

The burgers with the Ziggy patty are delicious, especially the Phoenix with the charred jalapenos, albeit messy. The KCK Salad is by far the best thing on the menu, and for a guilty pleasure, get the loaded fries! Oh, and the service is always friendly and upbeat!

Pros: 100% Vegan, Delicious , Lots of options

So good!

Stopped in San Luis Obispo for a night and was so happy to find Ziggy’s!! Avocado rolls, black bean taquitos and Ratchet Fries were to die for. Super friendly staff and food was ready quickly. Wish there was vegan food like this in Melbourne Florida!

Bomb casual food with a hefty price tag

Food is good! Not a huge fan of the house patty, it fell completely apart and the whole sandwich was basically inedible, but everything else I’ve tried has been awesome. I just think it’s too pricey for casual fast food, their 15$ burgers don’t even come with fries. I only come here on special occasions (aka hangover despair.) Staff is always nice and helpful!

5 god damn stars

Absolutely delicious. Best vegan burgers I’ve had in ages. Affordable, friendly service . Delicious.
Now been back 3 times and everything I’ve had there has hit the spot. Breakfast menu is also on point.

I hope they become bigger than McDonald’s.

Pros: Home made burger as well as impossible , Great breakfast items , Affordable

Cons: Nothing , Ok, I wish they had a bigger outdoor seating area, But that’s it

Inventive vegan comfort food (4.5/5 Green Stars)

Friendly staff members, very fast service, and delicious vegan comfort food for a wet winter – that was our Ziggy’s experience. We tried three items and had them down by the creek in Downtown SLO – a good place to eat your Ziggy’s take out – there are even indoor tables in the Mission Mall. We had the following dishes, which I ranked from excellent to quite good:
The avocado egg-rolls were perhaps the highlight & definitely worth trying.
The Ratchet fries were really delicious but a little salty, so they are best if shared (otherwise, consult your doc).
The KCB (Korean Cauliflower Bites) were pretty good too – I think I would get the KCK next time to include some greens😉
By the way, Ziggy’s just opened a second branch to start 2022 with a bang – this one is in Paso Robles!

I’m giving Ziggy’s 4.5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact, for these reasons:

• All the food is vegan. Adopting a plant-based diet is the top thing you can do to mitigate deforestation & climate change and to end animal cruelty and the insidious negative impact that the meat industry has on society.
• Ziggy’s supports other local businesses: the milkshakes are made with vegan ice cream from Scoop the Magic.
• Food is packaged in cardboard boxes and a paper bag.
• Would be good if Ziggy’s switched to compostable sauce containers so that waste stream can be simplified to 100% compost. It’s better for the planet and easier all round if all waste is compostable.
• Brands for meat-alternatives are named, which is helpful – Beyond Meat, Just Egg, Impossible, and Gardein.
• I’d rather Beyond Meat than Impossible (on the Ratchet fries) – it’s a more sustainable product. Of course, both of them are way better than meat!
• Lemonade is made in-house. Other drinks seemed indie at first but are owned by mega corps – Topo Chico is owned by Coca-Cola and San Pellegrino is owned by Nestlé.

Pros: 100% vegan, Mostly compostable packaging, Good fast service

Cons: Would rather Beyond over Impossible

The best burgers in slo

I love this place!! Wish it was a little bigger with waited service but over all legit my favorite burger stop in slo county. I love how it’s all vegan and the staff is great! 10/10 would highly recommend. Ranch is amazing and they have onion rings which is hard to come by. I love the jalapeño burger, the arugula one, fries, and their cauliflower tacos!

Pros: All vegan, Has impossible , Best burger place in slo for vegans

Cons: Kinda pricey but it’s worth it

They are Opening a New Location in Paso Robles in October 2021!!

I am on a road trip (as I write this) having traveled from Los Angeles for a blues' concert being held tonight. I made advance plans to meet up with a couple of vegan friends here for a meal yesterday and I am SO happy I did!
,
Since I work for HappyCow I gave them one of our 5-star excellent reviews' window decals which they happily & excitedly received!! YAY!

Now on to the food!! I ordered an avocado taco, avocado roll and the K.C.B. (Korean cauliflower bites), most of which were to-go. My friends ordered the chick'n sandwich, the Phoenix Ziggy burger, dirty fries and an apple pie roll. I ate the rest of my order last night and today. OH MY GOSH! My taste buds were singin', and, in turn, so was my stomach! I had a small bite of everything that my friends had and loved it all except I thought the apple pie roll was too sweet.

Even though it is coined as a comfort food place, I didn't feel that it was. It was all healthy and superbly created.

It is located in a very small strip mall with a small parking lot. I did find a spot in the lot, but I did not notice if there was street parking, but assuming there is. It is located very close to the 101.

If I come anywhere near this place on a trip I will definitely be stopping by for their excellent customer service, their enthusiasm and of course, their food!!

If you live in this area congrats on getting another one in Paso soon!!!

Fun & Greasy

Here's the deal: Your drunk, or upset, or high, or just finished a project- Ziggy's got your back. Small menu, great burgers, friendly to conventional carnivores.
Pro tips:
1. Always get the homemade apple pie rolls.
2. Get a sticker, their branding is dope.
3. If you grew up in the 805 this place is a must, the whole vibe is authentic local
Tell your friends.

Pros: burgers and tacos are worth the $$, great for your boring non-vegan/veg friends

Cons: no restroom , pricey

A MUST WHILE IN SLO 🤩

Such a cool little shop with a phenomenal menu. If you're in the mood for some comfort/fried food, this is your place. The restaurant is a lot smaller than I realized. Definitely more of a take-out place. I had the Baja Tacos, Avocado Egg Rolls, and Apple Pie Roll. All were amazing, but my favorite was the Apple Pie Roll. Best pastry/dessert I've ever had!!!

Went on a separate occasion and got Dirty Fries, KCB (Korean Cauliflower Bites), Onion Rings, and a Phoenix Burger! My non-vegan family LOVED everything we got and even wanted to go back for round two. What's not to love about this place! ❤️🌱

Good vegan comfort food. After a long hike in morro bay this is exactly what I needed! The burger was delicious and flavorful and dripping in mushrooms and cheese yes vegan cheese. This place is 💯 🙌! Saved the Apple pie for dessert later and it was crust was light crispy and flaky and the gooey apple center was delicious 🤤 nom nom!

Pros: Apple pie dessert, Good burger

Awesome!!

The burgers were huge and the flavors outstanding. The kids split a chicken sandwich and could barely finish it. The Impossible taquitos were too spicy for the kids, but I loved them! Dirty fries, amazing and everyone's favorite the avocado egg roles!!

Pros: Great friendly service, Amazing flavors

Decadent, delicious, mind blowing! We had the Phoenix Ziggy, the Avalon Ziggy, and the Rachett fries. I am shocked! This was incredible! You need to try these burgers! We are looking forward to trying the tacos next time.

Yummy!

Got the mushroom burger with the Ziggy patty & it was delicious. Thought I might not like the cheese because I am picky about cheese, but it was the bomb. Easy to order online & they got our order perfect. Hubby ordered regular burger with the impossible patty minus onion strings & sauce & they got it right. Will definitely be going back. Very friendly staff.

Pros: All vegan, fast service, friendly staff

Cons: A little pricey

Ziggy’s has that sinful taste that doesn’t seem vegan

When I first heard “vegan fast food,” I thought it was too good to be true, but Ziggy’s left me in the perfect food coma, somehow wanting more with the memory of their cauliflower tacos and ratchet fries immediately stained on my tastebuds.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Fast, Great Service

Cons: Limited dining area

AMAZING.!

I recently took a trip down to slo, and found this gem of a restaurant. I ate there for lunch and dinner, that whole trip! I had a chance to get the two style fries which are delicious, especially if you have a nostalgic craving for animal style fries at In N Out, or carne asada fries. The burgers are also fantastic, I had the mushroom burger with the bean patty, would 100% recommend. Their kale salad is also really good, and jam packed with flavor. Lastly but certainly not least, if you have a sweet tooth, I recommend picking up a cookie on your way out.☺️

Pros: Everything vegan, Fast and hot food , Excellent homemade bean patty

Better than expected

At first, I was not impressed by the menu in this place. But, I decided to get the standard burger with the veggie patty. The veggie patty did not disappoint and it was a good combo of black beans and veggies. The rest of the burger was good but the ingredients did not make a good combo for my personal liking. However, I would recommend this for anyone traveling through SLO.

Pros: Price

Fully Vegan Menu

Since my family has a gluten intolerance, I was a bit disappointed in how few gluten-free options there were on the menu. That said everything we were able to order was delicious!

Pros: Kind staff; delicious food

Cons: Not necessarily healthy; few gluten-free options

Yay, a great new vegan spot!!!

Definitely check out Ziggy's! The food was delicious and the service was awesome. Super nice guy working at the register when we were there. They've got a cool little spot that I look forward to hanging out at when things are more open.

My husband and I tried the black bean taquitos (definitely get three, one is not enough!), the Baja Cali taco (fried cauliflower), the Avocado taco (fried avocado - yum), and the KCK salad. Everything was soooo good! The taquitos were definitely my favorite but I enjoyed it all. Can't wait to go back and try some of the burgers, they sounded fantastic, and everything is vegan! 😁😁😁 Absolutely worth checking out. I am seriously SO happy that there is a new all-vegan spot in town. I will definitely be back! 💚

Pros: All vegan (including vegan cheese), Lots of variety, Excellent service

Cons: None!
