Diverse menu - Edit
The menu offers a lot of variety and everything I tried was delicious, especially the albondiga soup special and the cauliflower. Can’t wait to go back!

Good Vegan Fast Food - Edit
Great chick’n sandwich. Pizza rolls were also good. The kale salad was good but be sure to ask them to go easy on the dressing because they put a lot on. I don’t recommend the onion rings.

Great variety - Edit
I got the mushroom Ziggy burger as a lettuce wrap and it was wonderful! The Ziggy sauce is so tasty, kind of like a 1000 island sauce! We also got the onion rings, not super tasty, but the ranch sauce was spiced with dill and I loved that! We got the Oreo shake, and it was delicious. We left with a vanilla soft serve. The soft serve was pretty good, but not as flavorful as I anticipated. The people working there were so great… Very helpful and easy to talk to.
Read moreCame back and got homemade ginger lemonade! It’s very flavorful and not overly sugary. I also got the avocado taco. I so appreciated that there was kale on top! We also ordered the avocado egg rolls. The dipping sauce was really tasty.

Not vegan - Edit
They shared a picture of piglets on display at a fair. I received an incredibly rude and unprofessional response when I messaged them about it. Plant-based, not vegan. Won’t let me rate 1 star.

Definitely not low cal or cheap - Edit
Loved visiting a place where we could order anything off the menu. It’s not cheap though! We ordered 4 sandwiches, an order of fries, and one of onion rings and our total was $80. Definitely delicious as an occasional place to visit for a good “I don’t care how many calories are in this” vegan food.

Don't let the location deter you, this place is a hidden gem. The food is AMAZING!! Great vibe, awesome staff, and did I mention fantastic food? We had ratchet fries (to share, and they were HUGE), Phoenix burger with impossible patty, and a chicken burger.

Favorite Central Coast Burger - Edit
My family and I stop here every time we visit SLO- juicy burgers, Korean spicy cauliflower and Buffalo-style chicken sandwich. They are all stellar. I love that I can order anything on the menu without modification. A happy source of menu paralysis!

delightful dining experience at Ziggy's in San Luis Obispo! - Edit
Dinner: August 22,3023
Read moreI had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Ziggy's in San Luis Obispo! The location is charming, tucked away in a strip center along Hwy 101. Despite being a vegan takeout spot, they offer a cozy atmosphere with a few tables inside and outside. The Avalon Burger with its house patty, smoked gouda, arugula, and roasted garlic aioli was a true highlight. The homemade patty was cooked to perfection. The Crunchwrap Supreme was a surprising explosion of flavors - the impossible meat, melted pepperjack cheese, tostada shells, sour cream, chipotle aioli, tomato, and lettuce combined wonderfully. And let's not forget the crispy onion rings that were a delicious side. The chocolate and vanilla tapioca-based shakes were the perfect ending to an overall outstanding meal. Ziggy's is definitely a gem on the Central Coast that I'd recommend to anyone looking for delicious vegan options!
Pros: Perfect homemade burger patty, Lots to choose from , East freeway access
Cons: No bathroom , Limited seating

Nice option off the 101 - Edit
I was grateful to find a nice all-vegan option right off the 101 and also not in SLO's little downtown where parking can be tough.
Read moreI enjoyed my super fries but the Caesar salad was pretty weak. The orange sauce on the cauliflower bowl was also really sweet for our taste.
I'd probably stop again though to try other options

Best vegan burger!!! - Edit
This is a to-go restaurant, but they accommodated our family of 5 with two small tables they had inside. The burgers were delicious, especially the homemade patty. This was the best vegan burger I have had and I've been a vegan since 2017.

I tried the buffalo chickn sandwich, the Korean cauliflower bites and the apple square! These all were delicious! The sandwich was delightful and the cauliflower bites are worth the try! The Apple square wasn’t my favorite as the pastry was a tad dry. Definitely worth the try if you are visiting SLO!

Best place we found in SLO! - Edit
We went here twice because it was so delicious! The staff were so nice. Beware that if you go on a weekend night you may have a hard time finding somewhere to sit or stand as they only have 2 tables that seat 2 people each. Either olan to do take out or eat in your car. We ate in our car, which was fine.

Must stop - Edit
Ziggy's is an ideal fast food stop for vegans, especially 101 travelers, as it's an easy off/on. The menu has many options without seeming overwhelming, and there's a plentiful assortment of sides and drinks. You can customize just about everything to your preferences.
Read moreWe always stop on our frequent trips to/from LA, and everyone in the family gets burgers. Their house burger is delicious but you can pay more money for the Impossible version. (Why would you do that? The house burger seems healthier too.)
I ordered their ginger lemonade this trip, and it's exceptionally good. Not too sweet and plenty of ginger kick.
Everyone who works there is friendly and pleasant. We get our order to go on the way to the Madonna to charge the car, and it's proven to be a winning formula for us.

delicious+unique vegan spot - Edit
tried ziggy’s on a trip and haven’t seen half the vegan cheeses they offer anywhere else. tried the phoenix burger along with some sides and the almond butter cookie. burgers and tacos were packed with flavor, with tacos being superior IMO - total kale party going on. the burger especially was messy and the grease made me feel not great after, so if you do lower fat/oil free, you’re really gonna feel this. unfortunately the cookie was consumed before i could try it, so that’s top of my list next visit.
Read morethis seems like the perfect spot to bring less-veggy friends, though maybe plan a picnic as there’s not much seating. very kind staff and fast service.
Pros: holy vegan cheese options, Batman , all that kale, shakes!!!!!

Delicious burgers! - Edit
Lots of delicious vegan burger options (black bean, classic, mushroom, jalapeño, etc). Especially love their cauliflower wings, ranch dressing, and breakfast burrito, though they don't open until 11am which is sometimes kinda late for breakfast. (Have had to go elsewhere some mornings when what we really wanted was their breakfast burritos!)

Been a few times now. Love the spicy Buffalo Chicken sandwich, the black bean taquitos, the Avalon burger with the Ziggy patty (Gouda! Arugula!), and the avocado tacos. (Wish it had table service, but I understand their model of keeping things simple and overhead low are key to their survival). Looking forward to returning often and trying more things!
