We stayed at the Madonna inn which is not very accommodating to vegans. We came here for brunch and take out for the road, the staff is super nice and the food is so good!

The Bahn mi is the best! - Edit
Update they change their menu up and it’s all tasty. I really like the chicken sando. The fries are amazing too. The Bahn mi was super great. Get that! The crunch wrap and the avocado rolls were good too but the bhan mi was super flavorful and fresh.

Read moreTonight I had a Mushroom Ziggy patty ‘hamburger’, my husband enjoyed the Old 58 Ziggy patty burger along with fries and we shared an avocado roll.
All had great flavors. The mushroom burger had a huge amount of ‘shrooms. The vegan cheeses on our burgers had great texture.
The quantities were large, the quality was excellent.
Friendly service. A couple tables for seating indoors. And a couple tables outside.
Highly recommend Ziggy’s for vegans and non-vegans. You will not be disappointed.

Great little take-out place. We both had the breakfast burrito which was hearty! Full of just egg, hash browns and a side of their tasty homemade salsa. Lots of other vegan options on the menu, mostly on the fried side of things.

Wow! This place is amazing! Everything is fresh, made to order, and thoughtfully prepared. They have a decent selection without being over the top. We tried the KCK salad (9/10!), the Crunchwrap supreme (10/10!), the onion rings (10/10!), and the a peanut butter chocolate dessert bar that was insane (11/10!).

Only all vegan option open every day - Edit
After leaving Los Angeles, we were surprised to find very few vegan options n San Luis Obispo. This place is fully vegan, open everyday, and quite tasty. We actually visited 2 days in a row, trying the cauli bowl, a chicke'un burger, and some tacos. Everything was tasty. We really wanted to try the breakfast burrito that many others have said was good, but they don't open until 11 and we were out every day before then.

It was really good. My girlfriend says the eggs were just the perfect level of not too eggy! A little pricy but amazing. I loved the option of having an impossible burger or a ziggy patty (recommend the ziggy patty).

I stopped here after visiting the Paso Robles location the day before, and this location is just as good. I got the black bean taquitos and ginger lemonade. The food is so good, and I wish they had a San Diego location so I could go more often.

Always delicious food, definitely a little on the fast food style/guilty pleasure side of vegan establishments. A very special treat! I love that you can order anything off the menu because it's all vegan! I try something new every time. This visit we got the ratchet fries, old 58 burger with Ziggy's black bean patty, and the chick'n sandwich buffalo style for the kiddo, and she loved it! Overall, I wish this place (and the location in Paso Robles) had larger indoor seating area for dining in. Overall, both restaurants are very takeout oriented.

We’ve eaten Ziggy’s every time we come to SLO and stay at my wife’s favorite place, the Madonna Inn. Every damn time, Ziggy’s is one of the highlights that I look forward to. I love the KCK Korean cauliflower salad, the buffalo chicken sando, the breakfast burrito, avocado egg rolls, the crunch wrap, the mushroom burger, the ratchet fries, and more! 10/10 would recommend.

Ziggy's is near the University and is very popular with students. I've seen lines out the door (there is no indoor seating) on may occasions and have learned to go at other times, though I love their energy.
Read moreZiggy's has so many tasty items! I'm a fan of their kale and cauliflower with gochujang sauce, but everything I've ever had there is good. All the people are friendly. Prices are in line with other restaurants that serve this kind of food: burgers, burritos, fries, onion rings, milk shakes...
It's easy to get there because you can park right in front. You can also order ahead and have you food ready to go when you get there.
Ziggy's is just a big favorite. We are so lucky to have them here.
