Good place if you're desperate for any vegetables

Rome loves its meat and carbs; if you want some vegetables more substantial than a plate of lettuce, you are in for a search. Fortunately this place is pretty close to the Fountain of Trevi, has at least a small section of plain old vegetable dishes. I got a table a bit after 13:00, and waited, and waited. Eventually someone came and took my order. I got spring rolls (steamed instead of fried), "chinese vegetable", and, out of habit, some rice.

The spring rolls contained 99% cabbage, and a few slivers of carrot. But they were fine. The "chinese vegetable" was nothing but pak choi and one huge clove of garlic, in a small amount of very light broth. Still, it was whole vegetables, which I was grateful to find after a few days in Rome! Portion was not particularly large, but enough. The rice was dry and chalky, and as I'd had more than my fill of carbs so far, I didn't finish it.

Total bill around 10 euros. I probably should have gotten the ma-po tofu, but I have learned to be *very* wary of that dish at any restaurant that isn't much, much more up-front about what's actually vegetarian and what isn't.

Chinese food in Rome.

We had spring rolls, fried rice , noodles with vegetables and an eggplant dish. All were tasty and worth a visit.

Pros: Variety , Taste , Price

Cons: Closed on Monday.
