No-nonsense Chinese restaurant - Edit
Rather typical Chinese restaurant as you may expect in Finland: vast menu with several vegetable-based options and the occasional tofu, where it's easy to get a vegan meal if you know what to look and ask for.
Read moreIt's better than the average ordinary Chinese restaurant in Finland in that the menu is both in Finnish and English, the service is knowledgeable and kind, you don't need to dig the menu as you can just look at the one page with vegetable-based options, and as a vegan I had at least 5 options without asking major changes.
It's most likely the best and easiest option in Savonlinna to have a vegan or vegetarian warm meal.
Pros: 5 options in the "kasvis"/"vegetables" section, Clear menu (for vegetarians), Kind service and ample seating
Cons: No explicit marking of vegetarian/vegan options, Main access through a staircase from street level
