Good, generous and cheap - Edit
Fried beehoon and chicken rice may taste a little bland to many people but I find it good, healthy and nice. Beancurd skin, spring roll and vegetable fritter are fried crispy to perfection. The long queues everyday are testimony why this stall has been here for so many years and still so popular.
Read moreThe portions are hugh and cheap, enough to eat for two meals for small eaters.
Pros: Many vegan choices, very generous portions, , really cheap
Cons: Long queues but worth it, Hard to find a seat during weekend meal times

Average food, can't beat the price though - Edit
This was the only veggie stall in the market area that had people queuing for the food, so we decided to give it a go too. After a 5 minute wait we got to order at the counter. The lady was very polite and knew basic English just enough to serve us what we wanted.
Read moreThe food was ridiculously cheap at S$2 - S$2.50 per dish. We tried the bee hon, adding a fried vegetable cake on top. The cake was good, yet the bee hon was rather average. It was greasy and had no taste.
Pros: Polite staff, Very cheap
Cons: Greasy food, Not much of a taste

Get in early for the chicken rice - Edit
A lengthy queue persisted at this stall for a good hour over lunch time. I watched in dismay as the supply of 'chicken' drumsticks dwindled and then was exhausted by the time I got to order and. Got the bee hoon which was in equal measures delicious and cheap. Looks like everything is vegan at this stall.
