Wonderful shop!

Besides all the bulk items, dry and liquid, there is also fresh produce. July 2020: because of Covid restrictions, shoppers can’t yet use their own refillable containers. There are jars and paper bags available. The usual bulk items are available, plus olives, salsas, molasses, nooch and specialty and local products, such as sea vegetables, chocolate peanut butter, Cheesy Yeshi crackers (vegan), Green Cuisine tofu and tempeh, Very Good Butchers vegan meats, The Cultured Nut cheeses and a seedy spread made in-house. Household and personal products, stainless steel and bamboo items, cloth reusable produce bags. Lots of vegan items!

The online shop offers free delivery to seniors.
A 10% discount is offered to seniors on Wednesdays (I think that’s the day).
You can register your name/phone number to collect points.

Great zero waste essential vegan options

I came here with a friend to check it out and was pleased to see that they have vegan cheeses as well as butter, milks, tofu, you name it.

I have read many good reviews on this board so we decided to give it a try.

Gem of a store with a great mission

Paula and Nairn (the owners) are such wonderful people. You should read about their story.

While this store is not fully vegan, they do carry a lot of vegan things and eliminate the waste - zero waste usually marries well with being vegan. BRING YOUR OWN CONTAINERS (patrons often leave extra ones in case you forget yours)

You can get Armstrong BC Black Sheep Vegan cheese (many varieties), Cultured Nut cheese and vegan butter, soy and tempeh, vegan crackers, bread (from Frye's bakery - fresh Wed/Fri) and vegan macaroons from Fern Bakery.

They have a selection of fresh fruit and veggies, nut butters, kombuchas and more.

Great spot for alternative zero-waste soaps, razors, toothpaste, toothbrushes and on and on....

Stop by and check them out!
