Great place to stay while exploring the Adriatic coast

We stayed here for the second of two “vegan week” that were organised in September 2024. It transpired that we were the only vegans who had booked this for the week, but they still honoured the offer - we started the morning with yoga, ate lovely vegan food thrice a day, and explored the nature, beaches and history of the area on foot and by bike. Like others have said the hotel rooms are dated but they are super clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and so welcoming, and the beach was lovely. Would stay again without hesitation!

Pros: Great vegan food, Friendly staff, Activities on offer

Vegan week at the Adria coast

We took part in the vegan week for the second time this year in September 2024 and can say that the hotel's offerings have even more improved. The buffet is now well stocked and offers enough tasty food for everyone. The beach is great. We'll be back! In Giulianova, do not miss Gelateria Cichetti. It has the best vegan joghurt ice cream we have ever tasted.

The Vegan Week always takes place in June and September at the Zenit Hotel, we were there for the first time in September 2022. The Zenit Hotel is a charming, family-run 3* hotel in a great location with a private beach by the sea. Despite the slightly outdated furnishings, the whole hotel, including the spa area, is very well maintained and clean. The vegan week started with a pleasant welcome aperitif with wine tasting and delicious appetizers. Exciting excursions, hiking and an e-mountain bike tour followed in the coming days for those who wanted to participate. We took part in the whole program and had a lot of fun. A special highlight were the nice people we met. The vegan food had its ups and downs from excellent pasta dishes like tagliatelle with truffles to sometimes strange compositions like a kind of toast with humus. The vegan week includes full board with a breakfast buffet as well as lunch and dinner, which always start with an antipasti buffet. The buffet was always very tasty, so that you could get something there at any time. However, it was noticeable that the omnivorous guests plundered the vegan buffet and the waiters could hardly keep up with refilling. The staff was very nice and attentive. There is still room for improvement when it comes to the quality of the vegan dishes. At least, we were served new and different dishes every day. The desserts were delicious, as were the vegan croissants and homemade cakes. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you should not come here during July and August, on the beach and in the neighboring hotel there's loud partying going on... In September we only had a small foretaste of it on one or two days, otherwise we enjoyed our relaxation. Either way, we had a great week overall and will definitely come back.

Knoblauch?

Fantastic Hotel

The hotel not only offers a healthy vegan buffet three times a day, but also fresh hot food during lunch and dinner times. The food is varied and the majority is extremely tasty and all is fresh. We had an array of activities to chose from - we went vegan wine tasting, SUP (Paddleboarding) and go karting. There is also a lovely spa equipped with a small sauna, steam room and pool and also offering treatments. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough and will be returning with my partner next year.

Pros: Variety of vegan food, Activities , Spa

Cons: Dated furnishings

Unbedingt probiere

Vegan week

The hotel has two vegan weeks per season in May and September. The deal included full board. The food was excellent and plentiful with a buffet breakfast including cereal, nuts, fruits and yoghurt and also breads and fake meats and cheeses but also more the traditional Italian cakes and pastries. Lunch and dinner were 4 courses, with a buffet antipasto followed by pasta or rice or another grain or soup then the main dish, typically tofu or seitan or tempeh followed by dessert or fruit or gelatos. Wine was included.
The hotel is medium sized, family run, very friendly and near the beach. It is well maintained and has a small spa.
I would have given 5 stars but the hotel isn’t just vegan, other guests were staying too.

Pros: Excellent food, Very good value, Friendly
