The best cinnamon rolls & fresh breads! - Edit
Their (clearly labeled) vegan apple almond cinnamon roll is a dream, it is SO good. Also they are definitely on the pricier side for a bakery, but their breads are great. Their house bread is potentially my favorite local bread in the whole city

I still dream about this place - Edit
I wrote this bakery down just in case I needed a snack while wandering around town. We were there for only two days and I stopped by both days. Staff was so nice! I ordered every vegan roll they had and even saved one roll for breakfast while I walked to the train station to get on a plane to go back home. I still dream about these tasty rolls. I was there in April and it's now Sept! 🤣

Great baked goods 🥖🥐 - Edit
Sweet or savory, this bakery doesn’t disappoint! I can especially recommend the bread and the cinnamon rolls. They aren’t overly sweet but super flavorful! Seasonal specials are available so it never gets boring! The rolls are bigger, better and cheaper than their main competitor (cinnamood) but there are less vegan options. Still, I’d choose this place 🧚

a few good vegan options - Edit
When I was there they offered a vegan banana bread and a bun filled with plums (as far as I know cinnamon buns are their speciality) as sweet choices. The bun wasn’t labeled, so I had to ask if there is anything else except the banana bread.

The bun was tasty all in all, but not really what I expected. Very soft on the outside as well, not only the inside, which felt more like a classy batter and not a yeast-dough to me (soft on the inside, a little more bite to it on the outside), but that’s exactly what I want from a cinnamon bun.
It wasn’t very sweet, which is ok, but it could have some more cinnamon.
Hopefully I can try a classic cinnamon bun there soon, when a vegan one is available.
As they have a few branches within the city center. it’s pretty easy convenient.

Super scrumptious baked goods - Edit
This is the place if you love cinnamon rolls! They have lovely bread too, but the "Schnecke" is the reason to visit. There is always one or two vegan rolls but for some reason they're always with fruits. It's a shame they don't do the vegan version with caramel or dark chocolate. The banana bread is vegan and nice though.

Okay but not fabulous - Edit
Based on the regular queues in front of the shop, one could think this is one of the best places for bread in town. However, while their sourdough bread is really good (but not outstanding) and I do appreciate that they have vegan cinnamon rolls, I unfortunately find them to be somewhat dry - some frosting wouldn’t hurt for sure😉

Although it is a chain, the pastries are delicious. I had the cinammon roll with almonds and apples and it was very soft and juicy. Definitively will come back!
