Definitely check out this lovely shop if you are in Nether Edge! Great selection of local baked goods, vegan and environmental products, and stocks things I can't find in other stores.
Excellent wholefood shop that has basically kept me & my family going in the pandemic. There’s a good range of products and the produce is good. The staff are friendly, the online shopping portal works a treat and they play killer tunes at the store!
I like the staff and the shop, and I go there regularly because I want to support local and wholefood shops. BUT I am NOT happy with one feature of their loyalty card. I'm not wealthy, so this makes a nice bonus. However, at Zeds you spend £20 and get a stamp, spend £40 and get .. still only ONE stamp! That's not fair - and it's not how retail loyalty schemes work. The staff member said the owner has been asked and is adamant this rule was staying (Dec. 2018).
Brilliant, vibrant shop.food options are great+staff are always warm and helpful - Edit
This is a gorgeous shop that has had a complete overhaul over the past couple of years. The shop now has a wonderfully airy feel about it. There is always a great range of fresh fruit and veg- plenty of organic and locally grown produce to choose from too. It’s easy to pop in for one thing yet get absorbed by the shelves which home tons of new and exciting items. Lovely, helpful staff too!
I like Zeds. The owner is entitled not to be on top of the world because she never seems to close. It's true that dates could be checked more thoroughly but I find the shop pleasingly chaotic. No treading on eggshells here.
I am redoing my review because there are new owners who have done a really good job with Zeds so far - they have somehow managed to make a small shop feel a lot brighter and bigger without reducing the number of products on offer (I went there to buy flour a few months back and there were at least 300 different types).
