2nd Coffee this morning - Edit
Stopped off at Bagel Shack for a morning treat but wanted more coffee before heading back home.
Read moreI live in San Clemente but this is my first time in Zebra House Coffee .
Menu has vegan options that I may keep in mind but may not go out of my way to get it.

Not worth it - Edit
Zebra House Coffee was a pit stop on a road trip to San Diego. We ordered the banana chocolate chip muffin (vegan & gf), an iced soy latte, and the PB banana protein shake. In total these three items set us back $24 tip (and alternative milk costs extra, boo).
Read moreMuffin: 4/5 - pretty decent muffin. Extra points for being warm and having lots of chocolate chips! Not the best ever and I can make better at home but a good treat on the road.
Iced soy latte: 2/5 - strange after taste that kept getting worse as I drank it, couldn't even finish it unfortunately (and that's really saying something). Not sure what happened there.
PB banana protein shake: 4/5 - the shake is made with almond milk, banana, peanut butter powder, and Organic Protein plant-based protein powder. It has a slight cinnamon-y taste. Definitely enjoyed it but it's not worth $11.
Restrooms, seating inside & out, free WiFi, and ability to order via kiosk (though I found it more helpful to order at the counter to be able to ask questions). They also have a drive through with two spots for waiting. The location is convenient as it's right off I-5 but it's also nothing special. The outside seating views are mostly of a parking lot.
This spot has potential with the cozy vibes inside and outside seating, but I wouldn't return again (too many other coffee shops around to check out!).
Pros: Banana chocolate chip muffin , Cozy vibes inside , Service
Cons: Soy latte was awful, Expensive , Upcharge for alternative milks

Great food, atmosphere, and was labeled - Edit
My experience here was great. I ordered at the kiosk, but turns out I did not need to. If I visit this place again on a different vacation, I would just order up front
Read moreI got the vegan breakfast burrito and a vegan banana chocolate chip muffin. They were really good! I think I saw a vegan sandwich there as well.
I didn't have any coffee, but I know they at least had soy, almond and oat milk available for an extra price.
It had a great vibe too! The vegan options were labeled either by the name of the food or afterwards with a V
Pros: Labels, Great food, Great atmosphere
