Serves meat, vegan options available. At the level 2 cafe court, Qantas terminal area near Gate 22 (after security). Offers a
vegan burger consisting of patty, guac, tomato & ketchup.
Vegan burger meal comes with actual chicken - Edit
Has a few meal options for “I’m vegan burger” on its own, with chips and drink, with chicken bites
Silly me thinking the chicken was vegan if it was in that part of the vegan menu.
Thankfully I ended up asking before I took it and they said it’s real chicken. Paid for but gave it straight back. Suggested they fix their “vegan” menu
As mentioned by another person apparently the patty isn’t even vegan, while I was unable to confirm this -
$20 for this incredibly average burger is not worth it and I wouldn’t come here again nor recommend this to anyone.
The patty in the 'Im a vegan burger' is NOT VEGAN but they still advertise the burger as vegan. My partner (vegan) bought and ate the whole burger, I (also vegan) had a bite, wanted my own, and went up to the counter to buy another one. I asked for the 'I'm a vegan burger', and they informed me that the burger was in fact just vegetarian, not vegan as the "plant-based" patty had been changed, yet they have kept the vegan name. When I asked for the allergens in the new patty that we had eaten, they could not tell me what was in it, only that is was actually vegetarian, not vegan. The burger was still explicitly listed on the menu as vegan. My partner was not told this when he ordered (he used self-serve) and we, as long term vegans, ate the non-vegan burger. So dangerous. Do not risk eating here.
