Peace and tranquility

If you want peace, tranquillity and simple living then this is the place for you. Whilst the address is Fethiye, it is in fact about 20-30 minutes drive out into the middle of nowhere to reach Yuva. The views along the coast on the way are stunning. You turn off of the main road down a rough track through the pine trees for the last half a mile until you reach the centre. It is a collection of small stone houses and wooden huts set in the pine trees right next to the sea. That it is! If you are looking for nightlife then this isn't the place for you. You can travel here as an independent traveller, which I did, or as part of a yoga or walking holiday. The place is amazing. Very relaxed and peaceful. I just loved swimming off of the rocks and snorkelling looking at the beautiful fish. The sea is crystal clear and bright blue. There is a small bay that is calmer for snorkelling or a straighter stretch that is a little rougher. There are footpaths through the pine trees and so you can walk in shade along the coast. The food is freshly prepared each day and tastes delicious. The owner would bring us little treats such as freshly picked figs. They do offer a transfer service from the airport and are happy to act as a taxi to take you to places you would like to go. It is very much a 'go with the flow' sort of place. There were 5 of us staying there and they arranged a boat trip up the coast for us as well as a music evening. It was an amazing holiday. Definitely recommended

Pros: Peaceful and tranquil, Next to the sea, Vegan friendly

Cons: In the middle of nowhere
