Nice people and atmosphere

On the 4th floor above McDonald's, in a busy area, a very cozy and relaxed place, the staff is very nice and speak some English and there is an iPad with pictures to order from. There are a lot of vegan options available.

Pros: Affordable, lot of options

Another good Windlucky

I have visited the Shekou branch of this restaurant many times and always love it. This has many of the same great dishes and flavors. I prefer the ambience of the Shekou branch as this place is a bit quieter and darker (inside a shopping centre). But still great vegan options and well worth a trip.

An old reliable

Another branch of the Yunnan vegetarian restaurant group Yunlaiju.

This location does not have the level of charm as the others.

The food and drinks are up to standard.

Generally pleasant, though a bit hidden away and dimly lit.

Pros: Yunnan inspired flavours, Reasonably priced

Cons: No natural light

A Lucky Wind Blew Me To This Place

I had been trying to find another place but got lost, it was incredibly hot so I was sweating badly & very hangry as the place I'd been trying to find was closed, so i took a break for coffee. After I'd composed myself I searched on the app to see what was close by & still open, this place ticked both boxes. I ventured out and after only one false search into a games mall I found the entrance on the pedestrian street, as you go in there is a sign at the escalators for vegetarian food. On the 4th floor I found this oasis of calm where I was seated & served a pot of tea immediately. I was so hungry & the choice was vast, I ordered 4 dishes. The first thing that came were these things in batter (minimum order is 3) to my delight they reminded me of potato scallops from Manchester chippies, but these were stuffed lotus root in batter, so good! The Yunnan potatoes were crisp and not too spicy, the truffle fried rice was huge and delicious, not oily, then the huge portion of 6 fried dumplings packed with flavour. I took half of everything to go. I would definitely make a point of coming here again should I return to Shenzhen.

Pros: Absolutely delicious, Vegan, Nice looking place

Nice people

Really nice vibe here. Buddhists I think. Good food too. The menu has pictures, which is lucky because not much English is spoken -- at least you know it's all vegan.

Great spot on the top (4th?) floor of a manic shopping center. Top rated.

Best food I had in China so far

The dishes are very big and extremely tasty (a lot of oil in mine). Located at the 4th floor.

Silent atmospheric vegan place

Nice place with lovely interior. A rich choice for vegan. We tried soups, dumplings, vegan chops, kebabs, fried noodle with vegetables. All dishes are beautifully served. Tea and drinks seemed to us more expensive than usual. They have electronis menu and you can see all examples of dishes. The staff dont speak English. In menu they have special section with discounts. For example, you can see noodle soup with vegetables in discount sections that costs 13¥, but in the soup's sections it costs 25¥. And if you will not know about it they will not offer you cheaper from discount section.
I recommend this place if you want to go somewhere with your even nonvegan friends, they will like it)

Pros: Llts of vegan dishes, reasonable price

Cons: Don't have english menu

Wonderful, awesome vegan food!

I love this place! I've eaten here a bunch of times, often with non-veg/vegan people, and everyone is always impressed. A feast can be had for a group for 75 RMB each.

The location is in Dongmen Ding Plaza, on the top floor. Look for one of the two "Hacker E-Game" arcades (very near each other), and across the street is an entrance to Dongmen Ding Plaza with a McDonalds on the left and a Watsons on the right. Take the elevators up to the top floor, and go in the place with the Chinese characters on a wooden wall.

Pros: Excellent vegan food, nice atmosphere, Reasonably priced

Great Food

This was my favourite spot in Shenzhen, Everything I ordered was delicious and the staff were super nice. My favourite dishes were the vegetable dumplings, the black pepper steaks, and a fantastic noodle soup with a tomatoey broth (I added a picture but I don't know the name!). The toon rice is good too as were the little green dumplings. The picture menu on the iPad was easy to navigate.

Nice place

It is located in the fouth floor of the food court from the stairs to the left. The place is nice, clean and you can choose the menu in an Ipad~menu by picture. Lots of options. The staff is very kind and speaks few words if English. The food is good and prices higher than the food court downstairs but place is more quite and relax.

Pros: Lots of options, relax place for dinner

Cons: Bit expensive though

Convenient, Big Portions

Enjoyed a very convenient lunch stop here last weekend. It's a lot more pricey than the foodcourt options in the same building, but has a much nicer environment and I would say much better food.

Two of us ordered;
* seaweed pockets - filled with salad and a great type of mayonnaise
* dumplings with broccoli, pepper mushrooms and petals - and although the dumplings weren't very fresh it was very tasty and mushrooms very well prepared
* kale - possibly the first time i've had this in China and was very tasty and perfectly cooked
* rice - interesting mix and not just plain white

Pros: convenient, quality food, relaxing after the dongmen busy-ness

Cons: pricey

A Calm Respite in a Busy Shopping Zone

Has unusal wild greens, mushrooms, and special air flown tofu from Yunnan. Friendly staff, choice of teas. Each table, for two months now, has a small sprouting yam in a driftwood vase, unique. Noodle dishes are inexpensive but wild mushroom dishes can cost 88 - 108 RMB. Highly recommended. Lao Jie exit A2 or C, in the building, 4th floor, housing a McDonald, closest to the metro exits.

Pros: Quiet, Unique dishes, Friendly

Cons: No eggs, No Chives, No Garlic
