Do not eat here

I ordered takeout from their Sarasota location, and even though I ordered something that was vegetarian already - the Buddha Delight - and specifically requested that it be vegan, there was a large hunk of meat buried at the bottom. Thankfully I inspected it before eating. Then, when we visited the next day to get a refund, they were rather rude and not apologetic, and a server said that maybe it happened because the beef was with the tofu and they scooped them in together. So it seems that nothing is vegetarian if they don't keep the tofu separate from the beef.

I seriously didn't like their t-shirts. Made not trust them... it read "if it has 4 legs eat it" If your looking for something vegan I wouldn't go.

Pros: nice looking place

Nice Veg variety

With an menu section just for vegetable dishes, Yummy House has several delicious veg/vegan options

Not good for vegans

When traveling, we often search out Chinese restaurants where we can usually find something vegan. Not at this place, however. They have a large menu, and there are some things for vegetarians. We must have looked puzzled because the waiter came over to ask if he could help us. We explained our diet and he managed to have the kitchen put together a vegan meal for us, which was delicious and filling. But don't go there if you're on a tight budget --- the meals are pretty pricey.

Pros: Staff helped us find something to eat, Beautiful venue

Cons: Nothing on the menu for vegans, Pricey

not my cup of tea

Pretty well put together place. BUT, a lot of the employees t-shirts read "if it has 4 legs and it's not a table eat it." I won't be going there. It makes me wonder if they even respect vegans...? Am I being too paranoid?

Pros: no pros

Cons: read the t-shirts the employees wear
