Modern Australian and fusion cuisine restaurant, switched to become all-vegan in 2019. Dishes vary and includes a mix of western style and Asian style dishes: stir fried vegetable, ginger dumpling, crepe, pizza, stuffed filo, croquettes, Vietnamese crepes. Desserts include crumbles, chocolate lava cake, and ice cream. Can provide banquet tasting menu for 4 + persons. NOTE: As per current restrictions, restaurant can only serve a maximum of 10 customers at any given time. To ensure all customers are catered for, dinner service will take place in

Consistently excellent food, consistently excellent service. Have been here a number of times over the years as it's walking distance from my home and I've never been disappointed. The dishes are innovative and superbly executed. It's one of those places where it's really hard to decide what to order because the whole menu is so appealing.
And now they have their own local vegan brewery. What more could you want?
They're usually pretty busy so try to book ahead.

The food is utterly delicious here! Very creative way of making and serving them, with great taste combinations. Staff was very friendly and tried to find a table for us on a very busy Friday evening. We came late and at no point I felt they were rushing us. Absolutely worth a visit if you are in Sydney! I had lunch on a quiet Sunday and was impressed by the food and the service. I started with the Edamame and coconut moneybags, an imaginative dish with a great combination of flavours. The same was true of the Crispy tofu with green papaya, Asian herbs and toasted peanut salad. I was worried that a starter and a large plate might be too much but I found room for a dessert of Meringue shards with passion fruit, berry coulis and fresh berries. All the dishes were fresh, delicious and well presented. I like wheat beers so I tried the Dolly Aldrin Honeydew-melon Berliner Weisse. An interesting taste. I understand that they experiment with different fruits in this beer and another might go better. Enjoyable nonetheless.

Read moreHowever, the Head Waiter sadly made it a meal that will live long in the memory for the wrong reasons. We arrived 15 minutes early and were told by the Head Waiter that our table (at the back of the restaurant) was not ready. He strongly advised us that we should leave and have a look round the neighbourhood.
Upon returning to the restaurant 10 minutes later, the very same Head Waiter pretended that he had never seen me before, asked me my name, told me that our table was outside and that his staff should have told me about this when we booked. At this point, it was very clear that he did not want us inside his restaurant. Thanks to another waiter, we were given a table inside. However, the Head Waiter proceeded to ignore us for the rest of the evening until we had paid our bill.
Pros: Reasonable quality food
Cons: The Head Waiter is pretentious and rude., The restaurant is very noisy.

Arriving to a fully booked dinner is always a little hectic, however, excited to enjoy a culinary experience. Starting with tempura zucchini flowers that were complimented with beetroot stuffing and a sliced raw Granny Smith apple had me craving more...next choosing a pasta with oyster mushrooms and cauliflower purée in combination with their crispy tofu and green papaya salad. The pasta was refreshingly unique and the papaya salad took me back to Thailand! Now to finish we chose sticky date pudding and the chocolate lava cake washed down with Talisker. All in all making for a great 2 hours.
