Good food, chill vibes - Edit
Close to the airport which is awesome, middle of an industrial area though. Extremely yummy food with tons of options for everyone.

Creative pub-style dishes with an industrial vibe - Edit
Awesome ‘pub’ food with a twist, as it’s a little bit fancier than burgers and chips. The location feels a bit random as it’s inside the actual brewery, but it’s actually very cool and a laidback atmosphere for a weekend hangout. The menu changes from time to time which sometimes means that really good dishes disappear off the menu.

Cons: Menu changes regularly

Brewery with a bar - Edit
Was wondering if in the right place when travelling to Yulli's Brews, it's in an industrial type area but when I saw the venue it all made sense, this is a working brewery in an industrial unit and it really feels like it, rather than the more glossy Little Creatures Brewery in WA. I wasn't expecting this but I like this concept, no frills, true to itself, a place to go for a relaxed drink and to grab some food too.
Read moreThe food was quite nice, the Thai Mushroom Salad could have been a bit bigger, I wanted a healthy salad, rather than a bowl of fried mushrooms with just a few of slices of tomato, chillies, cucumber and onion and a scattering of green leaves - maybe I should have checked first exactly what it was when ordering rather than getting sucked in by the word 'salad'. It was more mushroom than salad but that's not a bad thing as it was tasty, not greasy thank goodness, and the mushrooms were nice and crispy, but I did have to consume a green smoothie a little later for some extra nutrients 😀
It's an ideal place to go with friends, it's unique, it has that urban industrial vibe, staff are great, lots of seating inside and some outside too, and best of all it's vegan. If just judging the food I would give it 4 and half stars, but taking the whole place and experience into consideration it deserves 5 stars.

Had a lovely time, though not life changing - Edit
Yullis was a good option to bring people that want a brewery without telling them it is all vegan. Saying that, I wish that they put 10% more effort into the mood menu based on the price. Everything was good but nothing was great.

Pros: Crowd pleasing, All vegan

2.5 stars. Do not get the pad see ew - Edit
Very handily located near the airport, we dropped by to try a few dishes.
Read moreThe XO eggplant was good enough, there wasn't a strong XO flavour, and I would have preferred the naan to be warmed up more.
The southern fried cauliflower also quite good, can't really go wrong with those.
The pad see ew was...terrible. For a start, the noodles were not cooked properly so some were clumped together, and most was al dente. I got the sense that they had boiled it, but not necessarily stirfried it after. The worst part however was the sauce, it was like a slightly sweet chilli sauce, nothing like what pad see ew is meant to be. And the "crispy tofu" bits were very chewy and tough, probably tofu skin by the looks of it.
Cons: pad see ew

Good food, chill vibe - Edit
Came here because we'd been to (and liked) Yulli's in Surry Hills and Byron. I think the food here may be the same menu as at Surry Hills - and it's great! We had some eggplant gyoza, massaman curry buns, and chips with penang curry sauce which were surprisingly good. Very chill vibe, great staff, just the location is a little out of the way (it's literally opposite a scrap metal yard) but I guess that's part of the charm!

Vegan brewery! - Edit
Nice vegan brewery near Sydney Airport. Grabbed the eggplant curry hotpot with rice and a ginger pale ale. Plenty of seating upstairs, while downstairs is a more stand and drink bar feel.
Read moreHotpot was great, and the beer was too. Need to find where I can source their brews locally!

Simple - Edit
This was not what I was expecting, but came up with the goods.
Read moreThe bar / restaurant is situated inside a working brewery on an industrial estate. When the shutters are up, the bar is open and a full vegan menu is available. There's no standing on ceremony here, the brewers are working around you whilst you're drinking vegan beer and food, but it's great.
Pros: Simple, full vegan menu, Quirky, Parking
Cons: May be noisey, Could be cold in the winter

Great food but change the tunes please - Edit
I was pleasantly surprised to see this place was open for lunch on NYE so we took the trip out to Alexandria. It was quiet (in terms of patronage) so we sat downstairs in the bar area rather than in the upstairs seating area. I could’ve done without them playing an entire album of Blink 182. I mean, f*cking seriously?! After starting off with a drink - the house brand of Australian ale from the tap for me - we chose some dishes from the menu and staff were helpful at telling us how much to order. We chose the tasting plate, the kimchi dumplings and the tofu stir fry. All were good, with highlights being the baba ganoush and maybe the lowlight the surplus of pickled radish. We decided against dessert but went for a yuzu and sake cocktail, which was very refreshing. I’ll look forward to coming back another time for dinner in the dining area, hopefully with different and more varied music.

I loved this place. Walked here from Mascot looking for a vegan feed, so didn't have a beer but the selection looked awesome. The shish wrap was incredibly and came out within minutes of ordering. I'm looking forward to coming back here in the future to sample a few of their beers.

Takeaway Friendly! - Edit
During the current climate, Yulli's are offering a small selection of meals that are made and freshly frozen for easier transportation. They're also doing takeaway drinks too in growlers, six plus packs and their sake. As a first time visitor there I was worried about the few meal options and the portion size but I have to admit it was delicious and I was definitely full!
