Pretty okay spot - Edit
We loved that they had a dedicated veggie roll menu. However be aware that this a kind of fusion restaurant with unusual flavors that you normally don’t have with sushi. We loved the classic tempura asparagus roll. The spicy mango roll was not spicy and came with “ceviche” on top that was pickled onion and peppers. The mega mushroom roll was just ok. I recommend trading out the forbidden rice roll with just regular rice, otherwise it’s waay too much rice on the roll. The spicy garlic edamame was not you’d expect. The steamed edamame came with a kind of thick spicy tomato based sauce drizzled throughout the bowl. Miso soup was yummy. Service was great and the space was inviting.

I was excited to get vegan sushi in Lake Tahoe and had high hopes with the other reviews. I’ve been to a good amount of vegan sushi places as well as homemade and I have to say this was probably the worst I’ve had. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t that good either. It was fine and overpriced. I’ve had much better sushi that costs less. Two of us had the sweet potato and the mushroom rolls and weren’t impressed with either. AND WAY TOO MUCH RICE. I asked for less rice on the mango roll I got next to try another one and I still didn’t like it. The vegan poke was also ok but at the end was just a bunch of beets. Hate to say it but I wouldn’t go back.

Tasty vegan options! - Edit
We ordered the sweet potato roll, the mega mushroom roll, the vegetable gyoza, the spicy golden beet poke, and the tropical roll (minus cream cheese) and they were all excellent! The poke and tropical roll were probably the overall faves though! Super nice wait staff too. Great experience.

Creative Vegan Sushi - Edit
The restaurant itself is very inviting with easy parking, and the staff was helpful and friendly. My two favorites were the Beet Poke and the Veggie Sushi. Usually Veggie Sushi is pretty boring, but this was packed and topped with so much goodness! The beet poke dish is so flavorful and like nothing I’ve ever had. There was so much of it, the next day I had it with Naan bread smothered in vegan onion dip for breakfast…wow…a happy accident. We also enjoyed the Mega Mushroom sushi.

Amazing, creative, tasty - Edit
Well done. Would give it five stars if the app would let me. The Golden beet Poke was great. The mushroom roll and the veggie gyoza were also tasty. The presentation also showcased creativity and artistry. Whenever I come to the Tahoe area, it is definitely on the top of my list of restaurants I want to experience.
