A large Chinese supermarket. It's not a vegetarian market, but they have an extensive selection of veg items - vegetarian ham, fish, eel, dumplings, potstickers, gluten products, veggie soy jerky. Variety of fresh tofu. Also conventional Asian produce. Open Mon-Sat 09:30-14:30, 16:30-20:30.

Love Asian grocery stores in San Diego and this place had products not available there. The fresh tofu, tofu skins and other shelved products are great. Appreciated all the utensils and cookware supplies. Very typical of the store in San Diego. Prices were better than in the states for similar items. While my con says a selective amount of produce, there are so many markets with beautiful produce that it is really not a deterrent.

The supermarket is not called Yuen Tong which is why I almost walked past. It is called Oriental Foods and is one of the largest Chinese supermarkets in Barcelona. It has a nice selection of Asian foods, but nothing too exciting.
Read moreI found some vegan mock meats although most of them were vegetarian only. They offer different tofu than the usual supermarkets. If you would like to cook Asian food, this is definitely a good place to check out.

Not very vegan friendly - Edit
This supermarket has quite a large range of vegetarian meats, chicken, ham, pork, fish, however, alot of them aren't vegan-friendly :(

Pros: Large selection of noodles, Good selection of glutinous rice cakes
Cons: Frozen meat not vegan, Produce section isn't very big

Supermercado Yuen Tong - Edit
This is the largest Asian supermarket I've seen in Barcelona! It's got a large selection of tofu, fresh produce, veggie "egg" noodles, and all kinds of fake meats (soy, gluten, mushroom). The prices on many items are excellent (sample -- in July 2010: 0.90 for a large bag of fresh shitake mushrooms, 0.90 for tofu duro, 1.05 for a bag of soy jerky - cheap and good!)
