okee Milk Tea is prob one of the best boba spots that I've frequented here in the area. It's at the upper corner of Oakland Chinatown and is sandwiched between other businesses, so it can be difficult to spot.
Ordering is simple. You go to the kiosk to place your order and can ask the workers in the back for any help or clarification on your drink. There isn't a sitting area inside at the moment so once you order, you'll have to stand outside and wait for your drink to be delivered.
I ordered their Oolong Milk Tea w/ Soy Milk, Boba, 50% sugar and Ice. I appreciated the fact that they offer non-dairy milk substitutes here. The drink comes in a sturdy plastic cup that seems like it was meant to be reused again at some point. My drink was fantastic! Boba was on point, tea quality could actually be tasted, and when I said half sugar, it actually did taste like it was just half-sugar.
With so many options on the menu, it can be hard to decide on a drink, but I feel like any option you select here from a milk tea to fruit smoothie will be delicious.
