Tasty!

I had the dumplings and the glutinous rice. I think both were excellent. (Paid around 130TWD for both items). Enough seating area and with some soy sauce and a tad of oil the dumplings were super tasty. Definitely would recommend coming here!

Pros: Tasty, Cheap

Good, cheap food

We tried:

Dumplings with hot and sour soup, with an intense taste of lamb (even it was vegan, it tasted like real lamb meat - i didn't like it) the soup wasn't a spup it all, it was more like gelee, Bad consistency.

Spicy wontons in chili oil - weren't spicy at all, but taste was good

Noodle in braised vegetable soup - my favorite of these dishes. Noodles were really good and there was pumpkin- and carrot slices in it.

Noodle with spicy pepper sauce was good too.

Overall i think it was okay (especially for the price), my boyfriend did like it much more than i. ^-^
Portions are great, you won't leave hungry and it is really affordable.
No buffet at lunchtime anymore and only cash.

Good cheap food

I was surprised to find this next door to my hotel - in a good way :)

I figured I'd have to do "google lens on the menu" but as soon as I sat down they brought over a laminated menu in English so it was easy to work out what to do and what I wanted.

Portions were pretty good and I can't argue with the price.

Remember to take your tray up to the front when you're done!

Pros: Cheap and tasty

Cons: Not a wide range

Delicious dumplings!

No longer seems to be a buffet at lunch time - instead you order using a tick-box form (all in Chinese).
Menu isn’t huge, but the dumplings are delicious and only 80 NTD!

Good dumplings

Not sure why, but the restaurant was out of hot & sour soup items and side dishes on their a la carte dinner menu the day my friends and I showed up. What they did have was a plethora of vegan dumplings served dry, in braised soup, or in clear soup. They had one bento box remaining (5-6 vegetable sides with white rice only), but we all went for the dumplings, which were so good that we all fantasized about coming back for them. Translation of the Chinese-only menu:
• Express bento (NT$80)
• Dumplings (10, dry: NT$70)
• Dumplings in clear soup (NT$85)
• Dumplings in braised soup (NT$95)
• Dumplings in hot & sour soup (NT$95)
• Noodles in braised soup (NT$80)
• Noodles in hot & sour soup (NT$60)
• Braised soup (NT$45)
• Hot & sour soup (NT$35)
• Side dishes du jour (NT$20 each)

Pros: all vegan, delicious dumplings, inexpensive

Cons: out of multiple items

Great range of dishes

This place is great for lunch, and a perfect place to drop into before/after visiting SuHo paper museum 2 doors down. It is a pay by weight buffet, but much better than some others we sampled. The range of options was great - aubergines, bamboo shoots, spring roll particularly delicious. Rice available as extra for almost no money, and free soup. Popular, and best to get there early at lunch as things run out by the end.

Pros: Very good value - super cheap, Many vegan choices , Very tasty

Cons: No English labels (but not needed-staff spoke), Short window to catch full range of lunch buffet

Typical vegan buffet restaurant

Offers your typical fare here. No animal products used. They also have a menu of dumplings and noodles. No English spoken. Food is served on plates and is generally quite cool/room temperature.
