Delightful Queer Bakery

Stopped by 15 min before closing.
Options were a little limited because they sell out of stuff by days end. But we all four got what we wanted. Sweet and savory options were all excellent. Will visit again.

Cons: No seating inside

AMAZING

incredible vegan pastries. if this wasn’t a fully vegan bakery, i would have been sure i was given a non-vegan order. had a pop tart, cookie, and blueberry croissant. so true to desserts with dairy—flakey and not too dense. excellent flavor.

Pros: fully vegan, most delicious, great vibe!!

Scrumptious Sweet and Savory Treats!

Love this place so much! Their cakes are moist and yummy. The croissants are crispy and flaky and even better heated up! I had a chocolate croissant the other day and it reminded me of the best vegan croissant I’ve ever had at a high end spot in New York City. I crave their danish with cheese and fruit. They also have savory items, so you can switch things up and get their ham and cheese croissant. They also have hot made to order items now that are filling and satisfying. The best part about Y&L are the people - they are BIPOC & Queer owned and the staff are warm and welcoming. If you live here in Nashville, go now! If you are visiting, definitely make a special trip and check them out!

You’ve just gotta try this place

Best croissants I’ve ever had plus they use them in so many unique ways (I had a croissant that was cupcake shaped with everything seasoning on top and filled with cream cheese if that gives you an idea) Their other baked goods are amazing too. So glad they have their own brick and mortar now!

Pros: Several unique and delicious baked goods, New menu weekly

You should get the croissants & the cake & the cinnamon rolls & everything.

I may be harming my own chances of getting one of these treats but the world will be a better place when everyone gets to have a Y&L croissant. It makes your day better to have one of these epically flaky, buttery, epitome-of-pastries pastry.

You may not be able finish the pastry in one sitting, that’s fine it will taste excellent later too.

There is not a bad thing here. Get more than one thing because otherwise you will be returning same day so you don’t miss out on the pastry that also looked really good and you thought about it and then kick yourself when you get to the park/home/wherever and you turn around go get it. Save yourself that trip.

Pros: All vegan options. Entirely., They have gluten free options too!

Cons: None…?
