Spoilt for choice - Edit
Many choices in menu. Tried their handmade glutinous rice cake and bah gut teh. Bah gut teh is a little too sweet for my liking. The glutinous rice cakes are fried and came with a brown sugar syrup. They are soft and chewy and the syrup goes well with the glutinous cakes.

Went for lunch. Was busy with all locals. Staff spoke very little English but enough info there to guess (as a veggie) and a notepad to write your order on.
Read moreI had mushroom satay skewers and fried avocado, with a refreshing peach and apple soda. Everything was fresh, cooked well and tasted good.
No option to pay with card, luckily I had just enough cash to pay.

Good food but heavy on the eggs and cheese - Edit
Happy to find this place in Ipoh but the menu was based around eggs and cheese replacing meat so not great for vegans, hence 3 stars. Options aren't marked but they catered well for us when we said vegan for both dishes. The noodle soup curry was excellent.

Its quite heavily lacto-ovo. Vegan items aren't menu marked, requiring staff convo to identify potentially vegan items. Its maybe ok if you're nearby, but defo not worth making a special journey to try this place.

We enjoyed the atmosphere here, however both the food and service could be a bit hit and miss. So sometimes service could be quick and attentive and other times not. The local food was better than the western offerings such as the pasta and wraps. I think the menu has reduced in size a bit and it’s much more geared towards vegetarians than vegans with lots of egg and cheese based dishes. That being said, there aren’t tons of choices here so it’s good that it’s here and offers some decent food

I had white miso ramen, make sure to ask them without egg bc the dish is with boiled egg. Be aware that they put honey in the lemon tea, unsure if the do in the others.

We tried 6 dishes and all tasted very good. There is a lot of choice and all really affordable. Unfortunately the satay was not available. Service was friendly and fast. Knowledge of English of one off the staff personal was okay, the rest not so much, but we managed.

This was such a cute cafe decorated with lots of plates, drawings, items from the past.

It's a vegetarian place but you can request for the dishes to be veganised.
The kimchi soup ramen we had was delicious!
I'm giving it 4-stars only because it's not fully vegan and the menu is much smaller than the one on their Facebook page.
