So fun to eat

Ordered three small rice balls (edamame, spare rib, ginger chicken) and tofu fries for two people. Very filling and a unique food. Order at a kiosk and pick up at the window. Has indoor seating and paid street parking.

⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not bad. Tried the onigiri. Would prefer a filling-to-rice ratio that’s a little more balanced but that may just be how onigiri is. I don’t have a point of comparison. I do like that there’s more than one vegan option. Boba tea was okay.

Great quality and taste, labeling incomplete

Some food labeled vegan. I know boba tea is generally vegan. However, it was not clear which tea ingredients are vegan because the vegan options weren't labeled there. I was unsure whether the jelly additions contained gelatin. It also may have been unclear whether boba is vegan to a customer not familiar.

Pros: Quality and taste are excellent

Cons: Labels not applied to all items.

Few vegan options but yummy

Their vegan rice ball triangle things (lol) are really really good. Tea was yummy but I would ask for unsweet next time. Would definitely come
Again!

Tea is the mango peach white tea (first love tea)

Onigiri!!

Pretty sure this is one of the only places in NC you can get onigiri, and vegan at that. Some of the fillings include: Ginger chicken, seaweed, spare rib, spring roll, ume (personal fav), kim chi, kung pao, and a few others. All mock meats are the Vegetarian Plus brand. Highly recommend the tofu fries. The rice was undercooked the time I went, but probably just a one off.

Pros: Lots of vegan onigiri options, Tofu Fries

Cons: A little expensive

Cute Japanese Tea Shop

They have a wide variety of tea options that you can get hot, cold, and bubble. They also have fruit teas and coffee. They have 10 different vegan onigiri options, some are purely vegetable, others have meat substitutes. They also have some vegan appetizers. There are 2 vegetarian options for noodle bowls on the menu, but I am not sure if they can be made vegan or not.

Pros: Lots of options, Creative vegan options
