One Option - Edit
There is only 1 option for vegans here which is the Vegan Burger. They gave me the option of fries or salad on the side but the fries are cooked in the same fryers as everything else so I had salad. Not a good spot if you like options but the vegan burger was very good!

Read moreThere are many vegetarian options but only a few vegan options (pretty much just have to omit dairy from the vegetarian options). But the Gardein Orange Chicken is vegan by default and pretty good. Wish there were vegan desserts.

Vegan “options” - Edit
Despite having a robust Gardein selection, when you review their vegan menu, only one is vegan as-is. Everything else requires modifications to make it vegan because they go out of their way to make vegan food non-vegan.

Told them to serve it with the dinners with the rest of the table and not bring it out early as an appetizer since it was ordered from the appetizer menu. It came out early as an appetizer anyway, so let it sit there for 10 minutes getting cold while we waited for the rest of the table’s dinner. Dipping sauce was honey mustard and ranch, neither vegan, so ate them dry.
Upon checkout they use invisible ink for the party tip they add to the meal before the subtotal. You have to do the math on your own to see what you ordered doesn’t equal the subtotal. Didn’t catch that missing $3 line item. Tipped 20% which turned out to be 37% when actually tipping on both the food and the party tip.
Shame on us for not paying attention to the math on the subtotal and paying $25 for dry chicken strips served early I can make at home for $5 and have vegan dipping sauces to boot. Shame on Yard House for concealing the party tip from the math, serving the food early, and not having the mental acuity to think about leaving vegan options vegan or at least expanding the selection, and offer vegan condiments. Why have a Gardein menu at all if it comes with egg and dairy? Was apprehensive about coming here in the first place. Won’t be back.

Beyond Burger w/Gluten Free Bun - Edit
Standard beyond burger. It’s seasoned heavily with additional salt and pepper. So if you’re use to eating beyond meat without anything added it’s a flavor surprise. The beyond patty was dry and didn’t come to the table piping hot. I selected the sweet potato fries and those were okay, thin cut with encrusted breading for a crunch. The gluten free bun held other well and tasted bland.

Well I did LOVE this place.. I was very excited about the Gardein menu and last time I went I got the avocado grilled chicken sandwich with no mayo and they had Daiya cheese to replace the regular. I got it with a side salad with balsalmic. If the other reviews are true, I’m not happy they didn’t inform me that their fries are not vegan and possibly the bun as well. I felt it was very obvious I was a vegan. I guess you just have to be extra sure. Partly my fault I suppose.

They do have a selection of plates with Gardein, but many cannot be made vegan. Was told vegan burger isn't even served on a vegan bun!?! And the french fries aren't vegan either! They sure seem to be trying real hard...NOT! We would have not known that if it weren't for a great server who actually cared to inform us. Not worth the prices, would rather eat elsewhere.

Super vegan friendly restaurant! They have a separate menu called the gardein menu which makes finding a vegetarian or vegan meal simple. They have additional vegan options on their main menu. Great vibes and the food tastes amazing. If you aren't too concerned about cross contamination with non vegan items, this place is perfect for a night out!
