Cute hole in the wall - Edit
It is a hole in the wall upstairs of a shopping center with some tables in front. They have some drinks and comfort food. I took the chicken plate, it was quite okay, nothing special. The guys behind the counter did not seem very knowledgeable about the products they are selling when they were asking about the differences between vegetarianism and veganism. They also did not have vegan cheese.

It’s not a restaurant - Edit
This place is fine for what it is - it’s a hole in the wall bar serving a small range of food. When we went, they didn’t have the vast majority of the items on the menu. We opted for vegan chicken nuggets and chips, which we saw the guy putting in the oven (they were standard frozen nuggets and oven chips). The chips were put in the plate 5 mins before the nuggets and as such arrived cold, and were undercooked. The nuggets were pretty good though. If you’re going here, food should be your secondary concern. It’s really a bar and meet-up place so go for that, and think of the food as a perk. I wouldn’t go here specifically for the food.

Great comfort food! - Edit
We were specifically looking for the place and found it quite easily... serving took a while longer than at other places because everything is air fried. Making the guilty mock meat pleasures not so guilty anymore. :-) We had the Bacinator Hot Dogs and Fries and Chicken and loved both! It's just so great to have some vegan junk food available in a place that is so central. We also stayed much longer than intended because we had some interesting conversations with Jeff, one of the co-owners!

Hidden Gem - Edit
Yard house was hard to find, it was inside SoHo building 2 at Sanlitun. It's a very cozy space, and if you end up there late at night like we did, don't be afraid to get to the third floor. Most of the shops would be closed and it might seem daunting to get there, but do it and you won't regret. Jeff, the owner is a very friendly guy from the US. He recommended the vaccinator hot dog, which was absolutely fantastic. I'd recommend the chicken nuggets as well! Everything is air fried, so apart from being vegan it adds a healthier dimension to it. The beers are well priced and they even have electric shishas. Definitely would return if I'm in town.
